Sands Motel

Did not like anything. DO NOT STAY HERE. Bookings should remove this location From May 17–28, 2026, I paid Sands Motel $871 for a two-week stay. During check-in, staff pressured me to sign a contract without allowing me to review a copy first, claiming it was company policy to provide it only after signing. After entering my room, I immediately found unsanitary conditions, including foul odors, bugs, and what appeared to be feces. I reported the issues, but staff stated housekeeping would not be available until the next day. As the night continued, I encountered more bugs and more bug bites, requiring medical attention. When I attempted to leave and requested a reasonable compromise, management only offered two additional rooms, both of which had similar cleanliness and hygiene problems. I stayed in Rooms 116 and 114, which also lacked basic amenities such as accessible power outlets near the bed. The motel failed to provide safe, clean, and habitable accommodations as advertised. I reported the matter to Booking.com, BBB, local authorities, and police. No one has resolved this issue yet. The business should not exist and ahould be shut down immediately.

Good value. Front desk were not too friendly and very strict.

This place is duty and very noisy at 1am there was steeling outside peoples on bicycles never stay in the location we had to leave 2am we left because we felt unsafe Nothing

Near the venue No AC, no shampoo, no extra towels and checking early fee was ridiculous

Nothing ! Homeless people hanging out ! People having se outside of their rooms ! Place was a pig sty ! Filthy , no bugs but bathroom was scary ! Window raw glass broken! A/c was makeshift with faulty outlets !

The first time we stayed there the room was nice but now I'm realizing it's a stage room cause the next time the room was not as nice but the rooms are big and the bed was decent the showers are god pressure The second room was dirty I had to clean it the room had little roaches alot of them you can't leave any food out your feet will turn black due to it not being clean they don't give enough towels i called tobask for late check out and they said yes then all of a sudden the father was banging on the door and said no so I had to rush police where outside harassing people they did not care about the roaches and the lighting is only the lights in the ceiling the stage room had lamps as well so it was either full force lighting or darkness

The price and size of the room also some of the staff were pleasant My chick had to clean the room, she wipes the floor and it was horrible, on top of that has baby roaches which only means the Brady bunch of roaches is elsewhere waiting for the lights to go off, then on tha way out get harassed by police in which I believe wer called by the dude working sands motel, WONT BE GOING THER NO MORE!??

I like the location. The water took forever to g et hot.

First room we got wasn’t too clean and we seen a few bugs but then we switched rooms; second room was very nice, clean and updated. Some of the other guests there seemed sketchy but overall I would go back. Office lady was soooo nice and accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was right. She’s great. Will go back and do recommend. Bugs

Very rude staff, which acted as if it was an inconvenience to assist us with our most basic request. We were first given the wrong room then switched to a room where the air/heater did not work during 50 degree wheather. The tv was not working during our stay with the addition of the beds being really loud and terribly hard would not recommend this hotel.

Good property

It was clean enough, and was a good value for what we paid. It was convenient for getting to the airport.

They took my money and I did not even stay there They said they were booked

It was available Small cockroaches ran on the walls on the floor in the bed. I woke up. I had smashed one on the bed stepped on the floor I smashed another 1 when I told the owner. He said he would have his handyman. Spray it was pretty gross

It was good clean just a few roaches
