Wonderful property, staff were very friendly, nice, clean room, and great food in the Lakehouse restaurant.

So, unfortunately, while the hotel is amazing, I’m leaving this review based on the fact that I left items at the resort accidentally, and the they partner with a “predatory” service that purports to be super helpful in returning your stuff to you but in fact, charges you a ridiculous amount of money to return it to you. I’ve looked it up and it’s usually a 50% markup. Why wouldn’t the Hyatt just handle this themselves and practice good customer service? They could easily return things with a $20 service charge rather than partnering with a company who wants more than the value of the items just to send them back? So sad and disappointing.

We had reservations for Saturday 9/19 to 9/20. We decided to drive to WDW and stay on the night of 9/18. I had to call to get the extra night room. At first the receptionist want to book a suite at $1000 but i told the girl i didnt need a suite only the room i had already booked. I told her i wasnt paying for a suite and she hung up. I called back again and asked for 2 double beds and this girl was extremely helpful. She merged both nights into one and made it easy and didnt charge that crazy amount. Overall the hotel was nice and our rooms were comfortable for 3 adults and 2 kids. We did not eat at the restaurant because it was expensive. . We didn’t know the parking charge was $40 a day and the distance from the parking lot to main hotel was a good hike. We thought about using the luggage cart but was told it was for valet only and the charge was $60. Complete ripoff. On Saturday we took the kids to the splash paid but the ground by the splash pad had so much mold we didn’t use it. You would think the cost of the hotel the grounds would be mold free. Also the railing on the balcony is not save for small children as my granddaughter could fit through the railing. Accident waiting to happen.

This hotel is a 10/10. My family and I will be back next year!!!
