Candlewood Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista by IHG

We checked in, got to our room and checked right back out. The floors were dirty, old dog food in the floor and a rusty screw. There was pee staining around the toilet lid. Smelled musty. It was a nice size room, but cleaning staff definitely needs improvement. The front desk lady was extremely nice and seemed to understand exactly why we wanted to leave. After the unknown resort fees, daily parking rate and pet fees, it was an extra $215 to the Hotels. Com price that they asked for upon check in. We stayed at a Disney owned hotel with free shuttle service, free breakfast and no resort fee for only $100 more.

As a family of an autistic child, when we travel, we make sure that our son’s comfort and safety is first. With that being said we have stayed at this Candlewood hotel eight times already. We travel to Orlando every other month. And this is by far has been or go to and will continue to be. They always meet and exceed all of our expectations and they are very accommodating to my family’s needs.

Only stayed one night staff was very helpful. A hotel fee was also charged at check in plus parking after paying for the night.

One of the best and most reasonably priced hotels I have ever stayed at with my family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value for money.

Clean room good bed excellence stay.

The hotel staff was very friendly. They were updating the computers so I had to come down on our second day to update room keys to new system. Our room was nice and comfortable. The laundry room was being change so we weren't able to do laundry while our stay. It reopened when we checked out. The location is close to Disney property and many places to eat.

The price was good, but tired of hidden fees just tell me the price of the hotel. Carpet in the rooms doesn’t look that clean.

This hotel’s rooms are so clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable! The kitchenette in the room makes is so convenient and we love staying there.

We stayed at the Candlewood for a week and had a positive experience. The rooms are new and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The elevators were making some noises and one was taken off line for part of our stay but otherwise, no issues!

I think the price and location are great! Bedroom layout was spacious, bed was comfortable and I loved being able to control the room temperature in the Florida heat. Cons: Towels in the room were not in the best condition. There were tares and loose threads. Room service never came by to pickup trash so it was overflowing. One of the elevators stopped working during our stay, which made checkout incredibly hard as there was one small elevator for 7 floors on a Sunday (typical checkout day). Also, the parking garage has automatic lights. If you go to the garage late at night/early morning, it looks pitch black until you step into it and the lights start slowly turning on. Did not feel safe, especially as I am a woman and was alone.
