This property was beautifully done. We were pleasantly surprised by the more elevated decor and experience offered. The location is centrally located and was quite close to the airport. The gym was great and felt like a private experience when we visited it.

This property is attached to the convention centre and makes life easy. The rooms are clean and spacious, elevators work quickly and sufficiently for high traffic times. Public spaces are always clean. Staff are attentive and friendly, right from the valet/bell hops in the driveway to the front desk and restaurant staff.

Our biggest issue was check-in. We reserved adjoining rooms, but they weren’t available when we arrived and were given separate rooms instead. When we questioned it, the front desk staff wasn’t very helpful and made us feel like we were being dishonest. They found adjoining rooms the next day, but by then we had already unpacked, so moving wasn’t worth it. Overall, the great valet staff couldn’t make up for the poor front desk experience.

I love the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. It’s in an excellent location and the amenities are like a mini resort right where you’d like it to be. The shortcoming is $45 a night parking $48 resort fee so when booking be aware that on top of taxes, you’ll be spending an extra $90 a day plus for your lodging.
