Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa Universal Studios Area

Westgate is one of my go to resorts when I go to florida

We did have an issue one night around 3:00 a.m. when water started pouring out of the light fixture in the shower. It took a little while for maintenance to arrive because they were on break. By the time they got there, the leak had slowed down, and the following day they came back to address the issue, but we were checking out that day. I do want to give the staff credit for trying to make things right. They offered us a complimentary late checkout, and after I asked, they refunded one day's resort fee. While the experience wasn't ideal, I appreciated their efforts to resolve the situation.

The only downfall was the washing machine and the dryer was not working in the main building 900. They had two dryers and two washers. I was able to use it anyway one of the machines and one of the washers besides that the hotel is great.

Jacuzzi tub never worked for us in master bedroom. Shuttles were inconsistent, even having them pass us at shuttle stops. Ended up missing our uber pickup. 2 bedroom was clean, and spacious, pools were great. Wish they didn't charge additional for the water park amenities.

The resort is good just don't go to the timeshare.

In the website showing all nice stuff like lobby and pool but they sent me to a place that it was look like a rental property and I called them to change my room but rudely I got negative response and Expedia as always never helped me So disappointed from both customer service just wasted my time and money and never enjoyed the trip

We loved this experience! Only thing i would suggest is if there is a family with kids, try to put them in a building close to the water park and pool. It was a hike for us! We will be back!

The property was emasculate, my family enjoyed our stay there and we will most definitely be staying in the future.

The stay was overall good for our weekend trip. The only thing I would complain about is we didn't know the water park was not included in the price however that could be an error on our end for just not reading the fine print. We asked a staff member where the entrance to the water park was and she didn't know lol. The room was nice and clean.

Great Location! And Great Property

I will tell you my experience in this place I book on Thursday to Sunday 4 the July weekend I did mi checking on Thursday night when I finish we star going to the room first we have a major problem getting to park no parking space at all took us more then 20 minutes trying to get parking space then we walk for like 7 minutes to our room when we open the room smells like they was fried chicken or pork very bad and we just turn around and walk to reception to get our refund back and live this place the picture looks great online but in person is definitely not good place be aware of this place . Also I been trying to get my refund back from them and not getting any response from this place terrible 😢
