Staybridge Suites Orlando Airport South by IHG

We were told on 3 seperate occasions that we would have a crib in our room. We arrived after midnight and there was no crib. The room and property felt run down and it was a very long walk to the elevator.

Amazing and helpful staff. Really cool amenities like a social hour with cocktails or soft drinks and tacos. There isn’t a regular bar or that I’m aware of so that’s maybe the only downside of a well maintained property and pleasant stay

The main elevator was out for an entire weekend. Furthermore it served its purpose convenient to the Airport.

The room was nice but very dark and outdated. The couch was very old and kind of felt dirty because it was so old. The rooms were not bad, but I did expect it to be a little nicer.

In all honesty it was mediocre. The room wasn’t exceptionally clean, saw a roach crawling in the room. Also a huge roach in the elevator. The main elevator was out of commission and didn’t see anyone trying to fix it.

It very clean or well maintained. The only advantage is the proximity to the airport. The shuttle and driver where very helpful

What a depressing way to end our vacation following a wonderful cruise with the family. I booked this hotel based on reasonable price and pictures, which made it appear nice. This establishment is run down and smells. Paint peeling off the worn doors to the rooms. Plastic ware for breakfast and styrofoam cups for coffee. Carpet in need of removal in the breakfast area. No hot tub, not that I care, but my husband was looking forward to it (site made it appear there was one, but management informed us it was torn out.) The pool looked OK but was in need of vacuuming. The two good things I could say are the beds are comfortable & staff are friendly. If your standards aren’t very high, you may find it acceptable. It’s extremely close to the airport, I guess that’s another plus worth mentioning. Otherwise, I don’t recommend staying at this Staybridge.

Let me start with the positive. The rooms were big, breakfast was ok and the reception staff were helpful but the hotel desperately needs cleaning, upgrading, paint and general upkeep. Our bedroom carpet was so sticky and one room had an awful smell. The common areas were just dirty. A thorough cleaning, carpet shampoo and coat of paint would make a huge difference.

We came in exhausted from a cancelled flight. We received our room and were bummed that the lobby elevator was broke. We were sent down a long dark smelly hallway to a different elevator. Our room was clean but there was only a single sheet for the pull out bed. The room temperature fluxed between freezing and hot with no way to change it. In the morning we went down for breakfast but it wasn’t ready until later. We found out too late that the morning airport shuttle only leaves once per hour- it would have been nice to have known this on check in since they watched us arrive on the shuttle. We had to run to grab our bags and make the shuttle we needed. It was disappointing and honestly we wished we would have just slept in the airport instead.

Breakfast was good

This property is dated, smells like mildew and we were charged a fee for checking in early. I'll never book with Staybridge in the future. They charge you extra for a room that is empty and if you wait until 3pm there won't be a charge.
