Great place to stay

The front desk staff was very good! There was a few minor things that needed repair but nothing that effected my stay. The room was clean. We just slept and left so we didn't use any amenities.

Stayed a few times at this hotel but this stay was very disappointing. Blood droplets on mattress cover. TV in the units lounge very poor quality and unable to change the settings. Freezer compartment dirty. Chips in the wall near the floor where the wall cement had cracked and was on the floor. The suite was next to a stairwell exit and as people were entering and exiting the door it banged loudly which went on till late at night then first time the following morning was at 5:30 am which totally disturbed us. This is a maintenance problem and should be fixed for a soft close or don’t place guests in room 139. We arrived to be told it was the managers special night. So we went to the area at 6:35 and there was no food and no one came to the bar to provide drinks. This special closed at 7pm so again a bad experience. The door to the room looked like it had been battered with something so that was very off putting. I had booked another stay for the end of my trip but have now cancelled. I am surprised that an IHG hotel would be in this condition. On a positive note the staff member who booked us in was very friendly but he was the only curious member of staff
