Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites

The place is a clean value minded hotel. The staff was great, but if you're looking for better in room food options or top notch beds, probably better to stay at a higher end hotel, however for the money, it was good.

The ONLY downside to this property is that the walls are thin. We heard our neighbors at all hours. But otherwise we throughly enjoyed our stay and will come back!!

We could hear the people upstairs from us literally stomping until all hours of the night. It costs $26.00 to park per night. Also the pool is only 3 ft deep. Everything else was good but this ruined the trip for us.

The hotel was beautiful the roll was close to the traffic and the noise was annoying and the up level room was noise too. The pillow was too soft and my neck was stiff every morning.The bathroom was too small in tight to bath. The pool was amazing and bar off the pool drink was bad, my strawberry daiquiri tasted bad.. overall 6/10 star.

The room is big, 3 big beds, one bedroom and a living room. There is a small fridge in the room and a microwave. Free shuttles to universal are a big plus and you get an early access to the universal parks. The pool was great. There’s a small kitchen and microwave and a dining table but you get plastic dishes and utensils. I would prefer some regular dishes and utensils so we can eat im normal dishes and reuse it whenever possible. But we still enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.

The place was beautiful and the staff was very nice! It was awesome that there was a Starbucks to get a hot coffee or a drink. If you need it and some food and their pool was amazing.

We prefer this hotel to Dockside, which is almost identical but Surfside is a bit smaller and quieter. Check in was easy, friendly staff. Free bus transport to all Universal parks. Easy pick up spot if using Uber. Walkable to shops and restaurants. The family suites are great when traveling with larger parties. Has small fridge, microwave, kitchen table. Only complaints is the coffee maker makes single cups using a prefilled coffee sack. Didn’t look appetizing. There is a Starbucks in lobby but I’d prefer to brew my own. There is very little clothing storage. Three drawers total, a small open closet without shelves, and some low hooks on the wall to hang things. Luggage can fit under the bed. Would not be great for a long stay but managed for 2 nights. Bathroom was basic but fine. Lobby was FREEZING every time I walked in, regardless of the time of day. Cafe was nice, good choices, priced fair. Pool was also nice, pretty warm, plenty of seating. Staff brought us additional pillows and blankets when requested. Housekeeping did a great job while we were out at parks. It’s a convenient stay if you’re doing a Universal vacation and prefer to travel without a private car.

Location. Free bus to parks, cheap food. Grumpy staff, especially at check in.

Great location, much preferred we stayed at both surfside and dockside. Much quieter, less people. Not great choice of food

Would definitely stay here again. Room had nice colors and was clean. Shower was big and had a line to hang bathing suits. Pool was large and well maintained. Food was pricey, but we needed gluten free food and they had a ton. Kids meals not bad for price. There was a gift store in the hotel, and other stores close by. Bus to the theme parks was a short ride. No fan in the bathroom and limited dresser drawers. Felt very safe, great for everyone.
