Driftwood Beach Motel

The pool was great and not too crowded. Lounge chairs overlooking the beach were great. Super easy access to the beach. A little on the lower end quality wise but you get what you pay for and it suited our needs perfectly.

Good place for family time! Housekeeping is on point. Beds are new but stiffer than I liked, but that’s my biggest complaint. Ice machine unfortunately went out during my stay. Very dog friendly as well. Do recommend and will stay again!

Parking was limited and hard to get in/out

The property has potential…but it lacks a lot of maintenance in the hallways, stairs n in the room. Great location right on the beach.

Ac and humidifier didn't work the best. Had to go buy a box fan. The ac was leaking. I asked the owner and he gave me a towel to soak up the water. And there was ALOT of weed smoking so that kind of ruined the wonderful scent of the sea air. The Hotel was nice other than the other quest that was there those days.

My ratings were adjusted for the age of the property and Bang for the Buck. This is an older motel and there are things that need attention, but many things have received attention. The staff is excellent and accommodating! Our balcony room had new bathroom fixtures and countertop, and newer tile in the whole room. The room was clean and I found the bed to be comfortable. The pool and pool area were well maintained. The big plus for us is this motel is very Pet Friendly and is situated on the northern end of Ormond’s Dog Beach! It is great to be able to use the motel beach access with your pet.

The room was filthy, bed was horrible and the pull out sofa bed was disgustingly dirty so needless to say I didn’t stay. The place should be shut down, condemned!!

Positives: view and beach access.

There are absolutely no amenities. Not even a phone in the room. While the location and staff were nice it’s very dated. Beds were comfortable pool was great. Parking is a serious challenge. For a quick getaway it’ll be OK longer than a weekend no.

Very rundown for what they charge. Decent pool and its right on the beach but so aren't alot of other hotels. Wouldn't stay again

It was clean and okay for a night.

The pool was very nice some of the chairs could be more aesthetic but fully functional; nice shower area for beach return rinse offs. Parking lot is limited; or you can park across the street / walk. Overall motel needs more TLC & attention to details regarding aesthetics / appearance of cleanliness.
