Comfort Suites Owensboro South

It served it purpose for us. They are updating the property and the rooms right now, Furniture was in the lobby and hallways because they were replacing and upgrading. The pool is covered and enclosed so it was cold and the hot tub was out of order. Staff was pleasant enough and helpful. I can brag on the breakfast, a good bit to choose from and it was well prepared. Over all for the price it was a good place to stay

Was promised a refund by Brandy and now my calls aren’t being answered. Was hung up on when told I was being put through to the General Manager Carla. Added an extra night into our stay and was called while at the amusement park about us not leave at checkout. Then had to have our room moved while we were out because we had been put into a handicap accessible room without needing it to be handicap accessible.

Breakfast was great. Brandy was a great help. Staff was very friendly and even jumped in and played a board game with my kids. We will be back next year to stay again.

The staff was very helpful. The front desk receptionist moved my family and I into a bigger room after noticing I had 3 children with me. The breakfast was hot and yummy with good variety. The pool was warm!

The day shift staff especially the maintenance man were very nice. Only 2 outlets in a 4 part outlet worked, and our fridge wasn't working until we figured out which ones were not working. So some of our food went bad and our room smelled. There was a bunch of adults drinking in the pool around kids acting crazy and they weren't being very safe so we didn't enjoy that for our kids. And the night shift staff didn't seem to care one bit. Our room was not cleaned super well, there was an oreo behind the couch not from us, and extra room key card behind the fridge, and an extra ice bucket lid as well.

When we first arrived walked threw doors place smelled very funky. We went up to the room it was very musty. The place is under renovations on every floor. We got a different room which was a upgrade but walked in still had a smell but not as bad then first room but the suite part were living room and kitchen was wasn't cleaned properly the chair had stains and had a big cob Web from chair to fireplace. The garbage can still had garbage in them. Bathroom wasn't clean good.

We would definitely book this hotel again. First of all, the front deak staff is excellent: very helpful and kind and accommodating. We encountered a male and a female and they were both AWESOME. The female let us check in early, and after I spilled cereal on the floor the male was so nice about it and cleaned it up instead of letting me do it. The room was exactly what we needed, two queens and a couch bed: clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were working and clean. The staff even came out to help us turn the hot tub on. Somehow, the room was cheaper than what we booked it for. Breakfast was adequate. They are setting up new furniture all over the hotel, which is nice to see they are fixing things up. Some items here and there could use a little maintenance, but for the price, you cannot beat this hotel. We travel alot as a family of 6, so we know a good hotel. If you want fancy, maybe this isnt for you. But if you want friendly staff and a clean comfortable place to stay, pick here. The whole town is full of nice people and the hotel is easily accessible with food and stores very close. 7 brew is right down the road! Walmart within 2 mins. Close enough to Holiday World. Thank you to the staff for making our stay enjoyable!

There was boxes and furniture everywhere. A weird smell. Spa didnt work. Power went out st 2am until at least 9 amd they didnt offer any assistance, just sat in the other room on their phones and keep lying to Expedia about sad power outage.

Don’t stay there. There was a big sign that said pool and hot tub was closed, but they lie and say the hot tub was just closed because someone spilled tea in it. There was ants and stains all over the place. The beds, curtains, rug and pull out couch was terrible. The fire alarm was hanging off the wall. The hall ways are filled with dirty furniture. I have pictures of all of it and the GM is terrible. Yeah I will get rude right back with her, because she is very rude. Stay away from this hotel.

Room was comfortable bathroom was good and clean We had a problem with the remote control for the TV but they fix it, there was a problem after that when you turn the light off tv went off as well...you could not turn on TV unless you turn on the light so it must had do with switch you only could watch TV when the light switch was...
