Excellent clean property with solid fitness facility

The real issues came with other promises that were made on the website. Based on other people’s reviews and the cost of the stay, I really thought this place would be classier than it was. Some things that the website promised were these: -Soundproof room. That was not true, at all. I could clearly hear, girls giggling loud loudly outside. At least, I thought it was in the hallway, but it turns out they were in the adjoining room. Then, in the morning, the people stomping upstairs, were like horses. -Pillowtop bed. This thing did have a pillow top. But, the whole thing was basically like a pillow. It was so soft that when I sat on it, it just crumbled in. It was like a waterbed. I need more support than that! Of note, they do not have room service. I will never go here again. And, I really feel like I can’t trust any reviews on any site anymore. No wonder I stay home.

Fantastic location right on the ocean, clean hotel. Will def be back!

Located near the beach for easy access.

This hotel was the best choice for this area! Air conditioning and cleanliness were priority for us. Location is great with nice little restaurants and shops in walking distance. Beach was beautiful for watching a sunset and More Point access is right there!

The “view” from our room was a curtain with a photo of the ocean on it.

It's perfect

The breakfast was very good. Special hot items, spinach quiche, crescent, egg & bacon sandwich’s. Lots of toppings for the oatmeal. Exceptional service in the breakfast area. There are only about nine rooms with a view of the ocean. Rooms were clean, but not many amenities in the room. No lotions, no shower caps, etc. The only exceptional benefit was the pull down shade had an ocean view on the shade itself, nice since we had no view.

I stay here regularly for business and appreciate how convenient the property is to other amenities. For example, I walked to grab coffee in the morning from Pacific Java Cafe and walked to pick up dinner from Moonstruck. It was nice not having to drive to places for food after a long work day. The rooms are always really clean and the proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Some minor things that I would change would be spotty cell service throughout the building (I always have to bring my MiFi) and the fact that the hotel has a great automatic espresso machine but will only let customers use it from 11AM - 5PM. It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but they do provide regular coffee during the free breakfast. Their breakfast is okay; I do appreciate the hot food options they provide including mini waffles you can make yourself.

Such a good place to stay!! One of our favorites from our roadtrip. Highly recommend!! The view is amazing.

Always great! Clean rooms and excellent customer service!

My family loved this hotel because it was right by the beach, you could walk there in minutes. The breakfast was ok, the room were clean, somewhat small if you have kids but the rooms are all indoors so it felt safe. The parking is limited unless you get there early you can get a spot but other than that we had a great two night stay here, we enjoyed the views and wouldn’t mind staying again.

The best part of the hotel was its proximity to the beach and a few shops. The check-in personnel were friendly. The room was spacious. The linens and towels were fresh and crisp to the touch. It would have been nice to have a clean window for the beach view. We felt safe and the ambience was nice and quiet.

We liked the view from the breakfast area. What we didn’t like were the beds. They were uncomfortable. We woke up the next morning with our backs hurting.

The breakfast had a wonderful selection. The hotel was clean. The staff was so friendly. Loved that it was right on the beach. We had such a peaceful time. Looking forward to our next visit.

Our direct flight from Honolulu arrived early in the morning so we were at the hotel about midmorning. We asked Abigail, the front office clerk, for an early registration. She searched and found a room for us. It was a corner room next to the elevator. It was clean and quiet despite being next to the elevator. Although the view was of some bushes, part of the highway, and part of the ocean it was a great room bc of its location in the hotel and size. It was more than adequate. Rooms are cleaned and towels changed every other day. Continental Breakfast is provided daily. Other eateries are within walking distance and quite good. We ate at Breakers twice and had a dinner at Nicks. Some other Rockaway businesses and restaurants are in walking distance too. We would definitely stay here again.

Just a quick overnight stay and was so pleased that we did. Love the location and proximity to all the walking/ hiking trails and the views. The staff was amazing. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep listening to the ocean. Only wish that the windows were cleaner so that we could fully appreciate the ocean view. We had a great breakfast while sitting on the outside patio. We will stay here again and would recommend it to others.
