Pacifica Beach Hotel

- I looked past the weird parking on the side of a mountain - I looked past the musty smell in the room due to the jacuzzi in the middle of the room surrounded by carpet - I looked past the TV remote that was basically useless - I looked past the cracked tile, chipped and worn baseboards, walls and countertops - I could not get past getting woke up by the sound of water in the drain pipe of the jacuzzi…every time someone above us showered, flushed a toilet or washed their hands - I could not get past the asthma attack in the middle of the night due to the moldy carpet next to the jacuzzi - I could not get past the cockroach in the bathroom the next morning - I will not get past the lack of a response from the hotel manager, after I left two messages for her. After reviewing the “10/10 Exceptional” reviews, it makes me wonder if these are BOT or AI created.

Really close to the beach, the private hot tub was nice, when wanting relax.

Always a great stay here! The staff was friendly and made it a quick and easy check in and out process. Beautiful view of beach from balcony, best part of room was the hot tub, it was clean and ready for use. I love this hotel because it is quiet, peaceful, and private.

It was a very old old-fashioned hotel, it was clean, huge room, really cool viewing deck, and unbelievable location

This is the only place to stay in Pacifica. The Peruvian restaurant is steps away and the remodeled rooms have comfortable beds. We listed to the roar of the ocean all night.

Great location! Within walking distance to the beach, it’s literally across the street! Also within walking distance are a Starbucks, Safeway, Ross and a bunch of places to eat. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely staying here again!

It was perfect

Everything from check in to check out was great! Check in host was extremely friendly even with dealing with multiple people checking in at once. Hotel was clean and quiet.

When the room is cleaned the tub should be cleaned if it has been used.

GREAT STAY

The hotel was right on Pacifica State Beach which was awesome. Our room and bathroom were big and spotless. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a great stay.

The door to my room was a mess. Someone apparently tried to break in before. Prybar indentation on hinged side. Cracked from a kick, I'm guessing. Wood peeled off by strike plate area. And a broken mirror right inside door. I'm very disappointed

They need fix the fan in the restroom and the light in the closet

everything was good, except the towels. the bath towels are pretty hard on my skin its kinda old.

The bed was too hard the alarm/clock you can heard static all night also they had only one ice machine which was in the first bldg that was very inconvenient and the room smell old

Unfortunately we had to arrive a day later than anticipated. I called to make sure our room would be there when we arrived the next day. They said yes, unfortunately they couldn’t do a partial refund which I understood. We showed up the next day and checked in. Our room didn’t have any towels. We reached out to the front desk and they said just to give them an hour and they’d have some for us. This was about 8pm. We called around 10pm and were told it would be around midnight before any towels were available. Which, being in a beach town is kind of sucky having to try to sleep still dirty from the beach. Once we got our towels in the morning, they didn’t give us the room towels. They gave us two pool towels. It’s just one of those things that takes down the whole experience. It’s a simple thing you’d expect your room to have. Room was outdated, different textures all over the walls and ceiling. When we arrived our door was propped open with the swivel lock inside. Could just overall have been a better experience.

Property is secure, crazy that is hard to find Travel for work to Bay Area. No issue with family coming to visit while down Good staff
