The lobby was very small, with a large vending machine that was not shown in the hotel’s website photos. We did not initially notice a man sitting beside the vending machine. When he suddenly spoke while we were trying to get the clerk’s attention, it startled us and added to our discomfort. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. However, the room key only worked once and then had to be reprogrammed at the front desk. When we returned upstairs, there was a man lying on the stairs, which further contributed to our feeling of being unsafe. Overall, our family did not feel comfortable or safe staying at this hotel. The experience was not consistent with what we expected based on the website. We left without staying the night and immediately contacted Hotels.com to request a refund. The reservation was a non-refundable purchase, however Hotels.com would give us our refund if the hotel could confirm the pictures on the site did not match. But when they contacted the hotel, of course they said they matched! But we didn't stick around to take pictures to dispute. So, trust me when I say...they hotel is not safe for family travel!!

In addition there are no elevators in ths bldg. When I informed the front desk at check-in that I had physical limitations, he made no effort to accomodate. We asked if they had any rooms on the 1st floor, and we were told they were sold out of rooms on the 1st floor. The staff or management are not mindful of the physicall challenged.

cant say its not clean - but the property is really one and if you are expecting nothing but just a pit stop - then go for it.

The lobby was very shady and smelly and unclean. The room was also dusty. lobby was very unclean. I saw several trashbags. The room was also dusty and felt smoke in the lobby even though it was non-smoke room.

I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and 3 days. 1 of the rooms had a toilet that was backed up, a lamp that did not work, and the TV did not work (kept saying no signal). I informed the front desk. They fixed the toilet. For the lamp, I was told it just needed a new bulb which the guy brought and it still didn’t work. Then he did a “scan” and claimed that the TV will work after that. After the scan, majority of the channels still said no signal, with very few channels working and were glitchy. The other room was located on the other side of the building (after I had asked for 2 rooms next to each other) and the hallway smelled of someone smoking. The AC units worked in both rooms but they were ancient and dusty. The mattresses in both rooms had stains and a weird smell to them. Thankfully no bed bugs from what I saw. The breakfast was in of itself terrible. Sooooo many people staying there and all they provided was bread, some store bought mini donuts, some fruit (bananas and apples), basic cereal (Cheerios and corn flakes), refrigerated boiled eggs, and some hot water, orange juice and coffee. The 1st morning we had batter for the single waffle maker which took a million years to make a single waffle, then it eventually kept turning off on its own till we just gave up on it. The 2nd morning we asked for the batter and were told they don’t make waffles on Mondays. Worst experience ever! Definitely would not recommend. Staff there are cheap and you are not getting your moneys worth

Room was clean. Breakfast in the morning was disappointing. Everything was gone by 745am. No one was restocking anything so we left and had breakfast out.

Really needs updating, smelled of smoke, would not stay again!

The room had an issue and not available so they sent us to another motel 17miles away. Late night so had no choice and we had to go but that place had problem with the flush, broken drawers and no breakfast bar, not at all worth the amount we paid for at Corning In. It was just one night so went onwards but no refund, nothing, we did not get what we paid for.

Great place to stay with kids. Location is good. Breakfast was good but slow. I mean, the place was crowded and only one staff was providing pancake mix, fruits.
