Hampton Inn Corning/Painted Post

We did not like that our first morning my 3 year old grand daughter used the bathroom to urinate and the toilet wouldn't flush. Feces come up the toilet wjich wss not my 3 year year olds and would not flush again they had to call maintenance to come up. We went out that morning and returned that evening to a dirty room. Front desk asked if we were on the list for housekeeping? Not knowing that housekeeping was every other day as this was not listed on the website or at check in. The next day we returned to our room and housekeeping had not come again. When we asked the maid why it wasn't done she stated that maybe the do not disturb sign was on the door but in the same breath she stated I gave you towels. The next night we returned back to room they only took out the garbage, dirty sheets were piled on the bed and old coffee still in the coffee maker. I checked out the next day. I went to the front desk and paid in cash and told front desk I was not leaving room yet. Housekeeping came to room and walked right in and said we were told you checked out. When we find leave and went to front desk to drop off our keys and my granddaughter wanted an ice cream. Someone finally came out and we asked how much is it and front desk staff stated "it tells you on the package " . I stated that was a very rude response" I was just given a blank stare as she walked away. I have stayed at many Hilton chain hotels and Hilton hotel. But I will never go again.

Good hotel for the price and good location. Breakfast area was small for the number of guests.

the Room was OK - the bedding was not fresh - so not a good sleep

The road leading to the hotel was in very bad shape though. Potholes were everywhere. This road is on their property.

Personnel were pleasant, courteous. Everything clean; spacious room, quiet. Comfortable bed. good breakfast. Convenient parking. All-in-all a pleasant stay.

Worst bed ever slept on bathroom dirty ask for disability room and got shower for small person breakfast was a bright point very fresh and tasty choices

Very good stay overall. Hotel and room was clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. Continental breakfast was good. The only negative (which I have noticed at most hotels since I believe a law was made regarding hotels needing refillable soap/shampoo/condition bottles in the shower as opposed to travel size bottles) is that the conditioner was mostly empty upon arrival. I am aware that housekeeping can easily be called to refill during the stay; however, this is not convenient while in the midst of a shower and I would recommend that housekeeping always check/refill shampoo/conditioner/soap prior to check-in.

The room was very clean and nicely set up. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was very spacious. The room decoration was in very good taste. Staff was very helpful. Parking is easy and there's plenty of parking space. Breakfast was good - the usual hotel fare, but good. The hotel is easily accessible and very close to major highways.

The air conditioner is noisy.

It’s a great hotel in a convenient location !! The hotel and staff were terrific and everything was very clean and well maintained !! We’d recommend this place highly !!
