Ice machine was broken. Dirty walls in bathroom. A/C did not work well

The only problem I had with the property was the fact that there wasn’t any hot water but other than that it was fine.

They took our suitcases out of the room and lost our clothes and chargers, and all they kept saying was that they didn't know where the clothes had ended up.

The front deck person was incapable of communicating. When asked a question, he didn't answer at all. The rooms were filthy, especially the bathroom. The tub had not been scrubbed in months.

Negatives: Rooms were dirty,specifically the vertical surfaces, carpets, upholstery. Black, greasy smudges around all door knobs and strike plates. Obvious that inside bathroom knob area is overlooked. Spatter, marks on walls. One room smelled of old smoke and cleaning solution. Laundry area was open to the elements and looked dirty. Old , flattened, dusty socks just hanging out on the sidewalk. Key cards didn't always work. Positives: front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Complimentary beakfast at the neighboring cafe was delightful and locals inside the cafe were polite. Parking was plentiful.

Birds Egg was the only good thing about our stay.

This hotel was surprisingly better than the more expensive hotel I stayed at in the area a month prior. While it's an older property, it was very clean, quiet, and affordable. They give you a voucher for a fresh cooked breakfast at a diner next door. The service there was fantastic! I will be staying here again while in town for work.

We had a lil trouble with the a/c the first night and it didn't get fix till the next day some came out to look at it . And they offered another room .. but other than that it was excellent very nice staff

Room great. The staff was very good and friendly. Would highly recommend this location.

The room was nice and clean. The area was quiet. We had a good night sleep. There was no breakfast at the motel but they gave you a food voucher for the adjacent breakfast diner which was very good.

I requested a room on the bottom not the top. The room was stinky, the carpet need to be change. I told the lady at checkin I needed a bottom room and that I requested one at the time of reservation, she told me she could change my room the next day. When I got to the upstairs room it was so stinky I went back to the desk, and she changed it. Both rooms tubs had rings around them, and no matter how hard I scrubbed I couldn't get the ring out after I had bought lots of cleaning product. The room they changed me to was carpet free, I liked that but it smelled of smoke, I am a non- smoker, other than that the breakfast was good.

Clean

Clean room - hotel is renovated, but facility is fairly old. They give you a voucher for breakfast, but if you stay more than 1 day, the restaurant takes away your voucher on the first day, so … no breakfast on later days!

Room was clean. Air was cold. Decent place for a night

There were questionable stains on the carpet and sitting chair in the room. I definitely did not feel comfortable walking around barefoot. we put a towel on the chair to sit on it. There we also dead flies on the AC unit and a french fry on the floor next to one of the beds which leads me to wonder if the staff actually cleaned the room or just made the bed. One of the beds also had a faded stained comforter... so they should probably upgrade their bedding.

Front desk lady I believe her name was Bunny was very friendly

a Cafe on the premises, really good and nostalgic. Nice price. Overall, adequate plus.
