After we had settled into the room (209) we discovered the mold in the bath tub, the odd odor in the entry, the broken phone, and the activation of the fire alarm in the middle of the night. I discussed the fire alarm with the night manager after midnight. She said the alarm goes off sometimes when the adjacent rooms take a hot shower. The next morning the day manager told me that the rooms had in fact been renovated because tile had been replaced. Replacing tile is an upgrade or a repair NOT a renovation. The statement about the renovation was a lie intending only to get customers to choose this hotel, or justify higher prices. In fact this lie is a direct violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices act, which is part of both Texas law and Federal law. I will be filing a complaint with both entities. Thank you for asking for my opinion and evaluation of my stay at the Comfort Inn.

The property and the room were very clean and up-to-date. The staff was very helpful, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at a continental breakfast offering.

No attendant at check in. Rang bell and waited. 1st room had flooded bathroom floor when arrived. 2nd room was musty and damp. Beds caved in on top and mattress’s corn exposed first morning revealing FILTHY stains on sides, didn’t dare look at top surface. Chairs worn and exposed structure. Felt greasy and stained. Same experience at checkout no attendant. Pool occupied by a family with multiple kids and toys strewn about around and in pool. Assuming they were local not residents.

We had a nice stay. Did not get to use the pool. The main thing that did not sit well with me was the coffee pot is in the bathroom. Does not seem like a good place for it. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The room was spacious and clean. The pool was great but the hot tub wasn’t working. The staff were really friendly and professional. We didn’t try the breakfast because we went to the Bird’s Egg Cafe both mornings. The food and staff were phenomenal.

Clean rooms great breakfast selection. Our AC never really got cold felt like stale circulation. The property was quiet and very lit parking lot close to restaurants amd stores.

Me and my children enjoyed our stay here the who was nice and comfortable being that it is indoors in the free breakfast was great overall great experience
