Location Parking was a joke at 30 something dollars a day you had to self park to the rear of the facility, then walk to the hotel on the backside of the facility via a dark street that was for the paid parking, or you could park on the street to the rear of the hotel . The entire facility looked worn in need of maintenance and upkeep. After all it is the Hyatt drop some money into your facility. The sidewalks leading up to the main door were all cracked and uneven. The rooms were a decent size although the air conditioner turns off automatically when there’s nobody in the room I get it. It’s August and it’s gonna be hot but the AC should not turn itself off to conserve energy. I’m paying for air-conditioned room, it should be nice and cool. Let’s make our way to the pool. The pool towels have seen better days. It was 100+ degrees out there and the stainless steel rails tend to get hot when entering and exiting the pool they had no neoprene covers on them., neoprene covers on those stainless steel rails are inexpensive and all I see is a lawsuit with somebody burning their hands in the makes. They were scorching hot. I wasn’t the only one to complain. Other adults had to improvise by wetting towels to be able to hold the stainless steel rails to enter and exit the pool. There should be people walking around to see the condition of the facilities it was very discussing that there was throw up and vomit on the pool area decking which was not hosed off nor cleaned up, I thought the Hyatt was supposed to be high-end. Needless to say this is a one and done. I’ve had better experience at smaller more bougie boutique hotels in the Palm Springs area. Oh, one last thing the breakfast that they offer skip it, there’s plenty of restaurants in the area that you can get a better meal with better customer service.
