I enjoyed the pool location everything was perfect and felt like i was at home

2 story room Maintenance guy cleaning and spraying water at 7:30 at the doors.

The property has some issues. Some of it needs a little power washing outside and the pool needs a deeper cleaning. I did see someone come to do outdoor floor tile cleaning right before I left. Room 23 needs a do over. Fridge, carpet smell toxic. Fix A/C. I was moved to another room that was great! I would return to this hotel. Everything was close and real good Jefa Cafe across the street. It’s only 11 minutes to the airport.

Exceptional

Traveled here over the Labor Day weekend. The lobby was very welcoming. The staff were very kind and helpful. They had breakfast items such as coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, pastries, toast, bagels, etc., each morning, as well as wine and cheese in the afternoons the pool and hot tub were amazing. It was adults. Only parking was ample would stay again.

We love the look and feel of the hotel. Perfect size, rooms are cute, bed is comfortable, nice and quiet with a pretty pool and palm trees.

This is my second time staying here and it’s been a great experience both times it’s affordable clean close to everything and staff is super friendly

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn’t even have to think twice about coming back — we’re returning this Thursday for an entire week! That probably says more than anything else could. Thank you to everyone at The Movie Colony for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Charming modernist hotel originally designed by Palm Springs architect Albert Frey. We had a queen suite with a living room downstairs & two queens upstairs, with a large balcony overlooking the pool area. Fun decor; comfortable beds; welcoming and helpful staff. Great location! We did a driving tour of mid-century modern homes as it was too hot to walk around outside! Will definitely stay here again! Minor issues: downstairs AC wasn't cooling the room sufficiently (mind you, it was 111 outside). AC upstairs was fine. Also, tiny bubbles made the room's water milky, which I didn't m8nd but gave my daughter pause.

The architect and the style! This is not the first in Palm Springs and this particular hotel! I get that every business owner wants to reduce the cost, however, the fact that the lobby of the hotel was closed every time I come and you had to walk to check in through the other hotel (Triada) that’s not professional in hotel business! It gives you the impression that this hotel is way less important and lower class than the other property which is owned by the same owner and belongs to the Marriott chains. I like rooms that smell nice and elegant but with no strong scent. The folks there put a scent with a strong smell (not in this hotel only in PS by the way) in the room and frankly this is not a cleanliness measurement! Internet was too slow and in many cases not working I had to continue using my carrier internet!
