Movie Colony Hotel - Adults Only

We love the look and feel of the hotel. Perfect size, rooms are cute, bed is comfortable, nice and quiet with a pretty pool and palm trees.

This is my second time staying here and it’s been a great experience both times it’s affordable clean close to everything and staff is super friendly

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn’t even have to think twice about coming back — we’re returning this Thursday for an entire week! That probably says more than anything else could. Charming modernist hotel originally designed by Palm Springs architect Albert Frey. We had a queen suite with a living room downstairs & two queens upstairs, with a large balcony overlooking the pool area. Fun decor; comfortable beds; welcoming and helpful staff. Great location! We did a driving tour of mid-century modern homes as it was too hot to walk around outside! Will definitely stay here again! Minor issues: downstairs AC wasn't cooling the room sufficiently (mind you, it was 111 outside). AC upstairs was fine. Also, tiny bubbles made the room's water milky, which I didn't m8nd but gave my daughter pause.

The architect and the style! This is not the first in Palm Springs and this particular hotel! I get that every business owner wants to reduce the cost, however, the fact that the lobby of the hotel was closed every time I come and you had to walk to check in through the other hotel (Triada) that’s not professional in hotel business! It gives you the impression that this hotel is way less important and lower class than the other property which is owned by the same owner and belongs to the Marriott chains. I like rooms that smell nice and elegant but with no strong scent. The folks there put a scent with a strong smell (not in this hotel only in PS by the way) in the room and frankly this is not a cleanliness measurement! Internet was too slow and in many cases not working I had to continue using my carrier internet!

My friends and I went for a girls' trip weekend to Palm Springs. The hotel was small and well appointed. The front desk was extremely helpful. We had a great time, just lounging by the pool. We love that It's an adult only hotel so there are no noisy children cannonballing in the pools. Lol. Definitely will be coming back to this hotel.

Lobby was closed and had to get help at the neighbor hotel.

I love this place. We have the pool to ourselves Friday. This is like my fifth time staying here. I love that. It’s all adults. Nate is great. I love my room and you have your own balcony. I feel like we have a place to ourselves all weekend.

We took a last-minute trip out to Palm Springs and I can’t even begin to express how pleasantly surprised we were with everything about this place.

Staff was very helpful and supportive. Great stay, super quiet which I personally enjoy so much!

Style of the room, architecture, quietness, patio, views, cleanliness Bathroom sliding door with gap (not a lot of privacy) The alarm clock on the nightstand went off at 5 in the morning waking us up (we didn't set any alarm)
