The shower handle was very inconvenient. That was very clean, but you know nothing special pretty kind. Staff thought it was great, but not sure if I’ll necessarily come back.
-
Bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. Room was too hot. Shower pressure was low and water was always luke warm, could never get it comfortably hot
-
Good location , Priya does a great job Terrible noise at night from HVAC , couldn’t sleep well at all . Housekeeping is not sincere about replanting bathroom supplies or even 2 water bottles every day . I had to call and ask reception every day later in the day

Rooms are excellent in terms of cleanliness, contemporary and minimalistic decor, and technologically advanced lighting/toilet/TV. Fitness gym has Peloton, weights, and high-end treadmills. Nobu restaurant is high on taste. Worth the high expense!

Nobu is the best hotel I’ve experienced in the Bay Area and is my go to for work travel.

The hotel is clean, well-designed, and has a calm, refined atmosphere. Rooms are comfortable with a nice Japanese-inspired minimalism, and the subtle scent throughout adds to the experience. Service, however, was inconsistent. Staff were polite, but follow-through was lacking. I requested dishes be cleared from my room multiple times even in person and they remained for over 24 hours. It felt like a gap in execution rather than intent. The restaurant was mixed. The miso cod was well done, but other dishes, like a trout I ordered, were overly oily. Service there also didn’t match the level you’d expect. Breakfast was decent but slightly inconvenient, requiring a short walk outside, and the large communal tables felt oversized for solo dining. Overall, it’s a solid hotel with strong design, but it falls short of the consistency and refinement expected from a truly high-end stay.

Huge shoutout to Josue for helping us secure both the room and our dinner reservation — he made the whole process effortless. And Chef Charlie at the chef’s counter was incredible. His food recommendations were spot on and truly elevated the entire dining experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the amenities were great. We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn’t have picked a better place. Thank you to the whole team for making it such a memorable stay. We’ll definitely be back.

The service was just okay. Two room service orders took well over an hour to arrive (and if that's the case, fine, but don't say it will be up within 35-45 minutes) and a request for just a fork took nearly as long (I had brought some noodles back to my room but they were cold by the time the fork arrived). Only two bottles of complimentary water and no easy place to refill them seems cheap for a $1000 a night hotel room (and not replaced daily either). Shower had lame water pressure.

Beautiful hotel.

Great hotel. Will stay again. Just small mishap with breakfast but I was accommodated.

Loved the clean room and a very friendly staff.

What a beautiful hotel. The amenities are very comfortable and luxurious. And the biggest perk is the amazing sushi…

Overall, customer support is ok. When I checked in, my hands were super full, and no one asked if I needed things sent up to the room or needed help. Odd for a reputable hotel. There is a gym. Nothing else. No spa. There is tiny, and beautiful Japanese garden. But it’s not like you can stay there. No seating. Also there is a constant loud noise of AC fans from the roof of the building. The restaurant is ok. It’s in the first floor, and there is smell that travels through the building. I ordered breakfast to the room. The deliver was ok. I was expecting more “good morning, do you want me to take off my shoes, can I enter?” But nope. Very super quick and bye. Not returning unfortunately. I’ll stick to the other high end hotels.

The location in downtown Palo Alto is great, if that's what your looking for. And the Nobu restaurant is of course delicious. The rooms are nicely decorated. The staff was friendly. However, as one of the most expensive (if not the most expensive) hotels in a wealthy city like Palo Alto, I was expecting a more luxurious experience. The room was nicely designed and perfectly comfortable, but I wouldn't call it luxurious. There was no grand lobby, beautiful garden, or killer fitness center. The gym was fine but small and the lobby was also fine but small. There is only one elevator so you sometimes have to wait a bit for it or take the stairs, which are kind of dirty and banged up since they're really intended as fire escape stairs (I assume). The staff was very nice, but again, I had been expecting to be impressed by outstanding luxury service, and I definitely was not.

Very clean with a smart toilet!

Situated right in middle of small Palo Alto town . The restaurant Nobu on 1 st floor serves pretty decent breakfast and other meals . Automated bidet loo . Staff is poorly trained , not respectful or kind in anyway . Staff doesn’t help just not interested in , housekeeping upon cleaning won’t relish drinking water or small moisturiser tubes and even toilet paper ! Worst is : keep asking staff to atleast put drinking water in room on super hot cailifornia sunny days - I was told no we can’t give you drinking water we only give on first day of arrival two plastic bottles . Which 1100 usd per night hotel has such poor practices in places . Shocking. I paid for breakfast inclusive option which on site showed up to be 40 usd per person per morning only. The breakfast bill for two of us used to be between 120-150 usd per day then they will deduct 80 usd from it and bill us rest everyday ! 5 star hotel breakfast inclusive is not supposed to mean that - it actually means full breakfast cost is inclusive.
