Everything was great. The place is not new, so there are some things that come with age, but it was as clean as it could hope to be. Everyone we interacted with was very nice…which was just the receptionist when we checked in and when we checked out. Would stay there again. I’d advise anyone thinking about staying there to make sure they get a room with the shower and bathroom in the room. I didn’t know it could be any other way, but I think I would have been upset if I didn’t know before hand.

Staff was very helpful and great location!!

The Bluetooth radio was very low quality sound. My iPhone was louder than the volume setting on the Bluetooth speaker in the room. No AC but windows open. Nice and dark in bedroom. Was bummed breakfast didn’t come with the room since booked on hotels.com

It was fun staying in such a nice restored place. The elevator was fun, a bit of a past experience. Good food options just outside the doors. Parking was just okay.
-
GREAT PLACE, GOOD LOCATION, PARK THE CAR AND WALK EVERYWHERE AND ENJOY THE RESTAURANTS NEAR BY

Was clean, bright, tasteful inside. Location to Stanford is great. Lack of air conditioning was a problem in the heatwave. With windows necessarily open, nightlife on Ramona St didn’t help sleep.
-
Quiet and character in the middle of the town. Local restaurants, boutiques, and street fair, a brisk and pleasant 20 minute walk to the center of campus.

Place was a dive and there is no A/C.

Great location in central Palo Alto Property is old and dated. Worn furnishings, lack of a proper ensuite (basin is in main room), bathroom door that was hard to shut, lack of double glazing which let street noise in at night, and a bed mattress which rolled to the outside make this property expensive for what it is

The location was great. I like the option of staying in a room with a shared bathroom. This made the overall cost less expensive. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and welll cared for; I hardly knew anyone else was even on the floor. If you have a room facing the street it's a little bit busy but once the windows were closed we couldn't really hear anything

This hotel was very clean and the staff was accommodating.

Love the location

The room was very clean and the bed comfy. Great place to stay, vibrant down town.

Great location in Palo Alto near caltrain station and many shops and restaurants. Very lively neighborhood. The hotel was pretty dated. Room size was adequate but we failed to notice that there was no airconditioning. There was a ceiling fan but during a hot spell we needed to keep the windows open to cool the room which resulted in noisy nights.

This hotel is awesome! So much charm, everyone was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic!

I stayed at this hotel previously and I decided to return due to its great location in Downtown Palo Alto which is very close to a lot of restaurants and shops. I love enjoyed the antique items spread throughout the lobby. There is not a lot that can be done about this probably, but if you get one of the first floor rooms that are facing the street it can be quite loud very early in the mornings due to deliveries and street sweeping. This time I was lucky to get a higher floor and didn't have to deal with this.

Great location! Walking distance from many restaurants.
-
Convenient location to everything but that also means it will have the usual downtown noise but it’s not terrible. I always book here when we have to go into the office and the staff is always friendly and the lobby is beautiful. The rooms are always clean and has everything I need. Thanks again for another great stay!
