The breakfast team were wonderful and reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Having a coffee maker in the room would be appreciated, although instant coffee sachets and a kettle are provided. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

The next morning, as we were preparing to leave, there was no hot water to shower. I brought this up to the front desk. 'Yes, this happens as the hotel is full and people are using hot water. Just wait 30-45 min.' Not a very satisfactory answer.

Clean, historic, cute building, central location.

The Graduate was exactly what I was looking for. A sense of the past with fun interior design. The room was very quiet and clean. The staff was available but also left me alone. I could come and go with a sense of safety. Location was perfect if you want restaurants right outside your door. A plus, the fantastic Presidents Terrace on the roof with sweeping views and great cocktails and small bites. I loved the stay.

We had a 2 night stay with 2 rooms. Room cleaning came very late (5pm) the first day and not at all the second day. Despite speaking with the front desk about the late arrival for the prepaid 2nd room for our son, they messed up the reservation anyway.

They secured my luggage while I was expecting a solution to the cancellation. I was very disappointed because I arrived at the hotel and the receptionist told me that my reservation was cancelled by booking.com. No body advised me that previously, I was very stressed about this. I have paid for my stay there. I was a great deception to me.

Hotel "destination fee" felt a bit like a scam. They charge $25 a day so that they can give you $25 dining credit. I don't appreciate those tactics.

Too expensive even for Palo...

Room was quite clean. Staff was helpful at the desk. Curiously, there were no water glasses in the room, but the staff did not recognize that as an error or unusual. We did have water bottles (2) in the room. The breakfast was excellent but the service for breakfast was weak for the level of the accommodation and its price. Breakfast orders were taken at the entry counter and delivered to tables but without any subsequent inquiry as to whether additional service or items or even salt and pepper could be provided. The food, however, was well-prepared such as it was. Nice hotel, but a couple of things need tweaking to bring it to the level that would be justified by the nightly rate.

Favorite spot we stayed on our roadtrip. Comfortable. Great location. Style and decor perfect. Staff helpful and friendly. Totally staying there again if ever in the area.

The hotel was perfectly situated in the center of it all. There were so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you’re visiting Stanford, it’s a quick 20 walk to the Palo Alto transportation hub. The rooms were decorated beautifully, super clean, and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
