Seahaven Beach Hotel

Rooms are outdated and appliances were dirty on the surfaces. Elevator was hot and had a bad smell. The staff never answer calls.

Honestly this was a couple day stay and all I can say is the area was not good. The beds were hard as a brick and the air conditioning didn’t work as I had to go purchase a couple of fans for our two days we stayed because nothing else was available. The hotel needs major renovations or at least my room looked like nothing had been changed since the 70’s and on top of that the roof had been leaking from the AC and all they did is come clean up water that was dripping from the ceiling.

We only stayed for 2 nights so we'll just managed with what we had. At first, the room was like oh wow it's ok. But then, we realized how bad it actually was. I wish we took pictures but with 3 kids we were just too busy going out and having fun. In the shower, it was not the cleanest...but there was also rust on the curtain rods and the corners looked like blood but I think it was rust. The bathroom floor was uneven and cracking near the bath tub...we thought it was going to break through. And was dirty from the previous stay. The floors throughout were not clean bc I realized as I walked barefoot and got into the bed that the bottom of our feet were black black... On our last night we realized there was mold everywhere. Bathroom and air vents. Even one of the pillow cases had it. The outside of the building could use a good pressure washing sidewalks and stairs especially.... It was a last minute trip before school started and we mostly enjoyed that we were next to the beach.

They showed us a different room supposedly one of their best rooms the pictures we have are so bad we should not be fighting to get the money returned to us because it is a total misrepresentation of the property and expedia needs to make this right! I have stayed in some bad hotels this one we went and found another place because YES IT IS THAT BAD!

I would book here if you are absolutely short on money and don’t care about cleanliness, but make sure you bring cleaning supplies. The tub was absolutely DISGUSTING!! all of the surfaces were dirty, looked like no one even wiped them down. The couch had over 30 mystery stains. The bed comforter had blood on it. There was stuff from the previous guest on the balcony. The ONLY good thing about this room is the veiw and that’s it. They play quite literally looks like it’s falling apart. The listening WAS VERY misleading.

We reserved a balcony but did not get that. They said talk to Expedia their mistake. But they could probably move us in the morning. First room a/c did not work and something was leaking. So they moved us to third floor with a balcony. TV did not work but a/c was cold!!! All in all place needed minor repairs and was not cleanest halls elevators but room and pool were clean.

Additionally, the bathroom sink was clogged, making it difficult to use. I even had to brush my teeth while showering because the sink would not drain properly. I was also disappointed to learn that beach towels were not provided, and there were no phones in the room to contact the front desk. I reported these concerns in person to the front desk. The only response I received was, "Ok," and no one came to address any of the issues during our stay. On a positive note, the air conditioning worked very well, and the location of the property is excellent. However, the cleanliness, maintenance concerns, and lack of customer service significantly impacted our experience.

Quick weekend trip , Staff was friendly and the coffee at check in is great , room needs a update , sandy floors I know it’s the beach and there is sand but it looked as if the floors hadn’t been cleaned I swept and wiped the tables etc off because they had sand still on them dirty shower with hair still in there , ceiling tiles were nasty in hall , not much lighting in shower area . The view from the balcony was great . The pool closed at 8 so didn’t really use the pool . We stayed in a suite it was plenty of room for us 3 so that was a plus . No laundry area on site , not much parking on site but there is a overflow lot across the street

I've stayed at a lot of places on the Gulf and that place has got to be the worst of all the places I've stayed at it didn't have half the stuff it said online to pull clothes a lot earlier than what it said because the lights were out but it did have a great view it was on the beach all the rooms were beachfront but it only had one pool no jacuzzi no bar area no food area with the bar area like a lot of other resorts too, the staff though was amazing they were very helpful but I wouldn't stay there again personally I would spend the little extra more money to stay somewhere else, the day we got there they told us to pull under the awning and get a car to load all of our stuff onto a car to bring up to the room and then move our vehicle to a parking spot well I went to every floor it starts the whole property for a car and could not find one so we had to physically carry all of our stuff to our room bag my bag cooler by cooler, there were no phones in any of the rooms that I'm aware of at least in our room there was no phone there is no safe whatsoever to stick your valuable belongings in to lock up when you left to go to the beach that all these employees had key cards to get into your room when you were gone,

On the beach with pool and grills. Walking to shops and restaurants. Reserved 2 queens and a pullout. Got bumped to a king and pullout

The property was pretty run down. The room floors were dirty. The view was beautiful.

Property needs lots of work! Very out dated room had patched up hole in the wall very visible! Booked but did not stay! Location is great.

First of all, you can’t beat the location. Literally steps from the beach and restaurants and other places around. The room was a good size. The beds were comfortable also. The lady at the front desk that checked us in was very nice and helpful. Pool was nice. Now, as for the hotel itself. Walls, ceilings and floors were cracked. Paint was coming off of everywhere. Multiple signs of old damage just patched over. We had to ask for more towels every day of our stay except one. Room wasn’t serviced even with the sign out asking them to service the room. The trash can was right outside our room and the trash truck came about 630 in the morning.
