Overall, this was a terrible experience. We will never book through Panhandle Getaways again and honestly may not book at Splash again. This was our second stay at Splash and while the first wasn’t like this, this has almost ruined the whole experience for me. For the amount you pay to stay there, it’s ridiculous that the rooms aren’t even checked for cleanliness. 0/10 save your money and go somewhere else

Convenience, location and facilities I wish the beach chairs were provided with the stay. Still not a bad price but we would have spent more beach days if we didn't have to pay $60 for the chair & umbrella.

The amenities! They’re everything. Proximity to the beach is phenomenal. The staff are accommodating and understanding. The property managers are fantastic! Split units are terrible! Pay attention to your listing. Not all have stoves, full size refrigerators, or even peace and quiet when you are in a split unit - outside of designated times was most problematic (0100 with multiple drunk adults and they’re screaming children isn’t the best for a kid friendly motel with children).

Property was right on the beach They didn’t explain to us that there was a main door to the room and a room door. They didn’t explain there was 2 door codes at check-in. It made checking into the room frustrating.

The security was awesome

Fridge wasn’t cold. Elevators were terrible and wait time was too long.

Not enough chairs at any of the pools swimming areas

Pools, location, beach access Kids unable to get in the pool. Wish we knew ahead of time, so we were able to let the kids know. We do not plan on coming back, a lot has changed since last year.

The property is nice. The beds are soft. You’re able to see the beach directly from your balcony and the trash shoot is conveniently directly down the hall from the room. In the kitchen, along the baseboards the nails are poking out. We found out the hard way because our 10yo stepped on them. On the balcony there’s a bird nest under the reclining chair. The mother bird was constantly on the balcony. Also, the company falsely advertises free tickets to certain places. I called about it, received no call back. I sent a text about it to which the representative did not assist after I told her I had already reached out. The condo needs small updates to add to how nice it genuinely is.

The views

The room is adjoined to another condo which is not disclosed at booking. When the other condo has the door open, the A/C shuts off which was a major issue. When the A/C did kick on, it barely worked. An employee walked into our condo (the door WAS locked) without knocking. He had the wrong room. There was visible dust and dirt on the bathroom floor like it had not been cleaned at all. Blood like stains on the linens and under neath the bed looked like that’s where all the dirt got swept. The shower or sink does not drain. When you use the shower there will be atleast 3 inches of standing water. The property itself is so loud, especially for children. There are no quiet hours implemented so the bar music played by the resort echos throughout the condo all night. It will wake your children up. The pools are so very crowded and there is not enough seating by the pool to accommodate everyone. The elevators are also very slow and dirty.

The condos should come with at least 2 beach chairs with how much they are to rent.
