Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort

Although it's an older hotel it is well maintained. We had a suite with three beds and the beds were not super uncomfortable for a hotel bed. We had a balcony with plenty of space for our family. The bathroom was tiny but for one person it did the job perfectly. Everything was clean and what we used worked with was the microwave and the fridge. The room we were in had celling fans which we love because we have our fan blowing constantly at home so it helped with our sleeping. We had a great time on the property. Only thing we did not like was how parents let their kids run around without much parental supervision and let them do whatever they want, including ignore the signs on the pools. But thats not a hotel problem, that's a parenting problem.

Un lugar acorde para vacaciones y no salir muy lejos . Playa bonita y limpia. Solo el mal clima de resto bien . Áreas comunes agradables. Me hubiera gustado que tengas servicio para limpiar la habitación. Pero de resto bien . Tiene serca muchas cosas playa , tiendas y comida . La verdad nos gustó mucho

The room was very clean just wish a broom and dustpan were in the room to help keep the sand manageable. Staff was always very helpful! Love all the cute photo ops and beach access! Will be staying again!!

I had a very moldy smelling room for my pregnant wife. Flickering or dead lamps, broken bathroom fan. About a 100 Nats (bugs) upon arrival in the room. Sand on the floor. Bugs were already splattered dead on walls. I had to pay a resort fee, fine but then they charge you too much for using beach chairs too and then ask for tip which I did. Chairs were not available for multiple days also. I looked for support and got blank stares up front. They gave me a confirmation number that was invalid to get support with hotels.com. Hotels.com never sent a confirmation number only an itinerary number so I could not receive any support anywhere. We almost just simply left. When we left about ten workers stood in the way of the hallway as we were trying to get our stuff to our car with zero awareness yelling about things in another language. The paid for partial beach view was a disappointment to say the least. The room compared to the pictures was very underwhelming. We both refused to sit on the nasty couch. Huge let down. Very disappointed. Pictures from the second day after personally taking care of the first wave of Nats.

The elevators were a little hot and stuffy, but at least you’re only on them for a minute or so. The laundry room could use some detailed cleaning of the floors and the washers. One of the dryers didn’t heat, but I wasn’t too worried about it as long as our stuff got cleaned.

This place is a great place to stay with your kids or without your kids. They have so many things to do. I would recommend it.

Nic eplace to stay in Panama City Beach ! beachfront rooms, tiki bar, and pool!

Viajamos 8 adultos y dos menores, me dieron una habitación con tres camas y un sofá cama la habitación tuvo un precio casi de $1800 creo que para ese precio esperábamos algo más, a pesar de que solo tenía un baño, me gustaría que en las fotos de presentación pusieran también estas habitaciones con estufas viejas y no solo la habitación moderna con vista al mar que tienen en la presentación del hotel.

Ownere are cheap. Poor amenities. No hair dryer in room. No shampoo in room. No coffee in Room. Crappy air conditiing. Great location though

The property is showing some wear, the laundry facilities weren’t very well maintained, but aside from that, we lived everything about our stay. The staff were very friendly, the daily activities were fun, and the pools were a big hit with the kids. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area with kids.

This is an older hotel. My room was clean and the view was amazing. I would use this place again.

Our experience was amazing the room was clean and the staff was very helpful, respectful, didn't have a beach view but that was ok was a view over one of the pools I could watch my 12, and 13 year old..we will be returning next summer hopefully for a longer stay we were only there for a weekend...I would recommend this place to all..

Sandpaper is my home away from home. I visit at least 4 times per year. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpful and polite. I rate them a 10 out of a 10.

I love all the activities centered around children. Our room was very clean and well maintained.

The room doesn’t look like the pictures at all. Got a room for 6 person and received an outdated unit with not enough space, completely opposite from the pictures.

It is not a 3 stars resort. This hotel should be re-evaluated. This is more like a motel on the beach. Really old and dirty. Found 2 vomits on the areas and thanks god, the rain took care of them because the staff did not do it. I paid 1600 for 3 nights with a resort fee. I really felt robbed. Will never comeback and will never recommend it.
