Best ever reminded us of our getaway THE GODFRY ON THE XAUSEWAY IN TAMPA

Our first vacation ever after 25 years marriage I had a grand time relaxing on the balcony watching the sunset

German cockroaches found in room on the first night!!!

Property is not same since new Management has taken over. Been coming for years and definitely can see the difference.

We had an ocean view room and it was wonderful. We had a great view of the ocean, the pool and even the fireworks since we stayed during 4 July our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and they come to clean the room every day opposed to just before you come and after you leave. This has easily become our favorite spot. We will be back. Thank you!

Absolutely atrocious! What you see in the pictures is NOTHING at all like the absolute dump the rooms were.

We stayed in a unit across the street from Condos. These units need to be updated, The doors showed signs of flooding in the restroom. I have stayed in nicer Motel 6 properties. I didn’t sleep well the entire week of my stay. The bed was very hard and it felt as if I was sleeping on springs. The pillows were very lumpy, I suggest you bring your own. The unit was clean and the A/C worked perfectly! Need better parking, most nights after dinner we had to park down the street from our unit.

From check in to check out, everything was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The view was beautiful.

Affordable but outdated, but the staff is great!

When I first arrived I thought was at the wrong address based on the picture shown which not the actual address which is across the street. At least one roll of paper towels could be used in the kitchen. Also, you have to pull extremely to turn the shower. We alerted maintenance and pulled on it.

I was glad that I had clarified that I was on the beach side of the resort. Several times when I was in the lobby, there were upset guests checking in who thought they were beachside but were really across the street. Overall, the location is great. It is not a modern or well-kept resort but is practical (plastic upholstery on couches) and spacious. The closet was huge and there was a full kitchen. I did not expect daily housekeeping but we got it, which was great. The balcony was a plus. Bathroom is tiny and felt dated, but sufficed. Did not use the pool because the beach was why we were there.

We had an amazing time, enjoyed every minute of it. Great atmosphere and good customer service. Only downside is that we did not receive any housekeeping service during our stay. I feel they would have to check if service was needed. Other than that everything was awesome.

The room was clean with a beautiful view of the ocean, but their only thing there was no like toothpaste or like lotion, toiletries or nothing and it was one roll of toilet paper so that probably is something that they need to look into of getting each room properly ready for the guest, but other than that, the state was amazing. Everything was good and I enjoyed my stay for the price.

got checked in and was disappointed to find that there are 2 buildings, 1 on the beach and 1 across the street. across the street is older/outdated, has no elevator, no luggage carts, no ice machine, no kitchen table, no additional outlets to plug-in chargers etc. and the washing machine was out of order. we had to call housekeeping over to re-clean a few things. also no extra blankets. The laundry room smelled horrible and is in a very inconvenient place as well. most of the staff was friendly and at least tried to be helpful but not all were very knowledgeable and seemed to be fairly new.

The price was great, and the amenities were great. Will book again soon.
