It was across the street from the beach, which was nice having a toddler. They had two pools and was in a good location.

The pool being open 24 hrs was amazing. Short walk to the beach. Elevators were easy accessible and quick to service. Not enough parking space.

There was a lady on the 3rd Shift(Overnight Staff) that's was Very Helpful and Aplogenic. The Manager Was Standing there Hearing Me Voice My Issues with The Front Desk Lady. It Wasn't Until I Asked to Speak To A Manager. That She Turned And Pointed as He Held Up his Finger and said He's the Manager. I Won't Recommend This Hotel to Anyone. I'll be back in Panama City Next Week. I Won't Stay There.

The pool, the beach access, the fact that the property is a bit away from the hustle and bustle - meaning the beach is not crowded. But also only a quick drive to all the hustle and bustle, when you want it. lol overall a great stay! No dislikes to note.

Location was good I booked beach front and got a cheap room across the street behind the main motel . And a severe storms came and the hotel locked the closest door to cover and safety leaving several people to run totally around the hotel for safety, no hair dryers in rooms. And parking was hit and miss.

The pool & hot tub was very clean . The front side walk across the street on property . I fell hard because it was uneven by the stairs .

We had stayed at Palmetto in the 70's and then the last 5 years. The room was not equipped and cleaned properly. The hair dryer this year was not on the bathroom wall. There was no hair dryer in the room. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The dispensers were removed from the shower. The shower curtain smelled soured and needed washing. Their were no dish towels to dry dishes, plastic bowls were missing, the cutting board was gone and just a few pieces of silverware were in the drawer. The carpet was nasty and needs to be replaced with new carpet or vinyl flooring. The furniture is dated. On Weds night the pool was closed at 7pm and was do an for 15 hours. I refused to get in it Thursday after they dumped about a gallon of chlorine in it. We won't be returning.

Don't understand paying for a room for a week and having to pay for ice. Small thing but just seems wrong. Staff for most part we're friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay at Palmetto. Just didnt get to stay long enough.

Our room was a little worn, but clean and tidy. The whole property was worn somewhat. But given its age, it was not so bad. The staff was helpful and polite. We had no problems with the WiFi. The location is great. And the ocean view was amazing.
