My recent stay was not as good as my first stay. The ceiling was coming apart. They recently had rain. They couldn't change my room, and they walked in on me twice. I was not happy at all.

For a Hilton property, it lacks the standard. The building is past due on some maintenance and upgrades. There is visible water damage on ceilings in many places, especially in the pool area, and the elevators are in need of repair. Overall, the stay was good, just not great.

I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding my recent stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Parsippany on July 25, 2026 in Room 343. Upon check-in, I was required to sign the Embassy Suites Hotel Policies form, committing to adhere to property rules; including quiet hours and respect for other guests. Unfortunately, these policies were not enforced when I needed assistance. During the night, the occupants in the adjacent room played excessively loud music late into the night. I called the main lobby desk twice to report the ongoing disturbance and request intervention. Despite these calls, front desk staff took no action and the disruptive music continued unabated until approximately 3:00 AM. Because management failed to address a clear policy violation after two direct notifications, I was unable to sleep for most of the night and ultimately missed the morning breakfast service. It is extremely frustrating to be held to a signed policy agreement as a guest, only to have hotel staff completely ignore those same standards when another room blatantly violates them. Given the severe impact on my stay and the lack of front desk responsiveness, I am requesting a partial refund for the night, also I look forward to hearing from you promptly regarding how you plan to make this right. Sincerely, J. Jeyabalan

They considered 6 o’clock a late check-in and gave me a handicap room, and that is not what I paid for. They said they were completely sold out and had nothing else to give me. The shower was older and rusty spots and just the entire room looked rundown.

Bar was not open when we needed it. Amazing and shocking. We came there as a wedding party and there was not place to gather and have conversation with a drink after 10:00pm. Very disappointing.
-
The room is very old and dirty. Not worth the money.
-
Parking is 15 extra. Don't forget that part.
-
I always like the pool. However, the food could have been better. Need more options.

We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant we could eat at after a long day of travel before bed. In our room we found a dirty sock, garbage and a child’s toy. We were compensated free parking ($15 value). This hotel is a dump for what you pay for. Stay somewhere else.

The staff was amazing even though the ice machine was down on 2 floors, there was a 2 a.m. fire alarm that lead everyone outside of the hotel for about 45 mins for it to told to us a faulty alarm. Pretty alarming to me to hear that also the maintenance on 302 room I was in was peeling in the bathroom walls and looked like molding as well. The toilet also over flowed. I had a 2 day stay and despite the issues I enjoyed myself with my daughter and her friends.

It probably was a nice place at one time. It felt like it was closing in a couple weeks.

I did not stay here. It smelled like mold/mildew. There were chunks missing out of the furniture in my room. The room was not clean. I left an hour after arriving once I could make other plans.

Broken elevators made it very difficult for family to walk to and from room. Pool on weekend has time slots that have to be reserved for 1 hour each but security wasn’t making sure this was followed so pool was filled to capacity with any color wristbands in it and making my children uncomfortable. Room was bad, plumbing was horrible with no warm water in sink, toilet no pressure, sink leaking, tub not draining for an hour. The pull out couch was also all springs and no mattress. The room doors are all attached to a giant atrium area which is nice but makes all noises at night very loud and disruptive. They should be more aware of this and make a quiet time hour to be strictly followed. Snack area in the front was also insanely priced at 20$ for a water bottle and energy drink.

We booked a suite on the top premium 5th floor. Unfortunately, one of the two elevators were out, but still, not awful. Check in was easy. We watched as minivans pulled up and unloaded lots of little kids. :( Our suite was great.Clean and full featured. I started snoring so I got booted out and slept on the pull out sofa at 10pm. For the next 3+ hours, the noise on the first floor was brutal. Between the kids and their parents Plus a wedding reception, I really didn't get sleep until 1 or 2am. While I suffered through all the noise, my wife was sleeping in the serenity of the bedroom, where the noise did not pierce. We left at 7am without trying out the free breakfast buffet. One other little issue was the $15 charge for self-parking in the half empty parking lot. I did not know about the fee until after I booked. Insult to injury, I had issues with the app to register our car. If we book again, I would stay in the bedroom because the open atrium noise was awful.

I had a booking issue where I requested a cancellation on the very day of check-in, but the staff ignored it and charged me for the first night. They refused to issue a refund, even though the situation was not my fault but rather the result of the staff failing to process the request from the start.
