Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boston - Peabody by IHG

Everything was ok. The pool was dirty. No plugs for electronics for travelers like other hotels. Air conditioning not too cold. Staff was excellent.

Checking in and out was easy. The front desk staff was friendly. The property needs to be updated. However, the room was clean

For us, the hotel was still worth the price considering the prices of other places in the area and we knew we weren't going to be there much.

Right on Route 1 so close to everything. The staff was awesome. Unfortunately the hot water went out for the whole building and my sink was clogged. But the staff was very polite, patient and helpful. They offered me another room immediately. And within an hour the maintenance crew got the hot water back on. Although people may say I should not have had those problems to begin with. Certain things happen in life you can’t control but the staff was very helpful so still Five stars for me.

There is only one elevator for the whole building and it’s slow and the lights on the buttons don’t light up so you weren’t sure you called the elevator until it did or didn’t get there. Pool floor was a bit slippery. Could probably have used someone to squeegee the floors in a few places. Small issues with the bathroom as well which I spoke to the clerk on. Good location. Solid amenities and a decent room. 7 out of 10

Staff is great here. Accommodations. Hotel is huge. Restaurant next door serves delicious food.

I wouldn’t stay at that one again

Room was good and clean, but a little older. There was so much chlorine in the green pool that we opted not to use it. The ice cream machine took my kid’s money, but we called the number and got it back. Staff was alright. The check-in lady was late and the person manning the desk didn’t know what she was doing and couldn’t check us in so we had to wait 20 minutes. The restaurant Nextdoor was good and friendly. There is also a Starbucks in the same parking lot. Room was quiet and clean and we felt safe. Pulling out of the parking lot was a bit tough, but floor it and you can make it. We enjoyed going to Salem and Salem Willows park/arcade from there. It’s worth the drive. Convenient enough to the airport and Boston.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff!

Room was clean. Comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit crowded and parking lot was rough (but what lot isn't, from the east coast winters).

Property looked dated. The showers head and toilets didn’t flow properly. Seems old and not well maintained. The door also looked and get worn. The latch was worn and looked like it had been installed back in the 70’s. Overall the bed (pillow, blanket and sheets) was comfortable and the A/C worked so that was good. There were no spare outlets by the bed for phones and other critical electronics.

They could have offered a breakfast voucher only some people got them and others like myself didn’t. They had a coffee station in the lobby that was out of coffee so I had to wait for them to bring more. Not the best experience
