Breakfast was great. We didn't realize they were renovating during our stay, so the pool wasn't available. Outside of that our stay was fine.
-
The location was good for Boston and Salem. The sign for the hotel was not there so getting deliveries was not easy also their pool and fitness room were both closed for renovations which they did not tell us about before our stay.

The room and staff were great!

Exceptional

The staff was very helpful but I had to call often. Towel bar fell off the wall and tub drain issues. Uncomfortable old worn couch and stale smelling room. They were sold out so no moving option. I was traveling with an elderly parent who didn’t want to move after settling. Disappointed overall, and I don’t like to give bad reviews.

Arrived to find the hotel undergoing a massive, obviously pre-planned renovation. Many amenities were unavailable. I appreciate the renovation, but am disappointed in the stay as this was not denoted when the reservation was made. A piece of advice, if your going to do major demolition work let people know in advance. To sell a hotel on pictures of something that no longer exists is criminal.

They agreed to refund me after 15 phone calls and multiple hang ups and finally a refund for a trip I was definitely not taking and still they have not refunded me and I sense this property which as a Hilton rewards member does not uphold the Hilton hospitality I have come to enjoy in other properties. Have you issued the credit

My stay here started off terrible traveled all the way from East Hartford CT wi5h my grandkids to get to a hotel under construction and worse NO POOL staff at front desk she was awesome wish I remembered her name she found many pool alternatives for me but was just heartbreaking for my grandkids that they had no pool and I had chatted with an agent prior to leaving to my stay and was notified that pool was working

Black paint on our bed, trash piled in the hallways. However; the best part was upon check in being told I was aware of renovations which I WAS NOT. We booked for the pool which was closed. Very disappointed. Would not recommend or stay there again.

The room was exactly what I was looking for when I needed a place to stay with my 5 bridesmaids. We wish the pool was open but it was good for a 2 day stay.
-
The building was fully under construction. There was no AC in the hallways. The button to use the elevator was pushed in with wires, hanging the only way to get the elevator was to dig your finger in there and press the button there was no bathroom in the lobby. The pool was listed on the website, but there was no pool when we entered the room no air condition was on and the room had a bad smell. The bathroom towel rack fell when my disabled mom was using the bathroom. I’ve stayed at Hilton numerous times and never experienced anything like this. Fortunately we called Expedia and they switched us to a better hotel room. I’m very disappointed in Hilton.

Property under construction and was not told this. Construction occurred through out the night which made sleeping very difficult. Amenities were not available and the staff was rude and not helpful

The floors, from the lobby to the elevator, to our room, were covered in plastic. Make shift walls were made of plastic blocking off areas. Smoke detectors in the hall outside of our room were covered with plastic (and taped)! The hallway smelled like the plaster/spackle they were putting on the walls and you tracked it into your room. The exit sign near the elevator was hanging off the wall, as was the smoke detector. There were lights laying on the floor down the entire other half of the hallway (right next to the plastic on the floor). I am quite honestly appalled that guests are permitted to stay here. I have lost my respect for the Hilton chain of hotels and will not he staying in any of them again.

The location is great, we usually stay here because it’s close to the places we like to visit. It’s under construction, it’s dirty, nails on the floor, there was a spilled drink in the elevator, our bathroom was not cleaned well, we didn’t stay for breakfast because the construction was going on in the same area and it was dusty. It was noisy and the floor we stayed on smelled like heavy cigarette smoke. Water was to be shut off between 10-2 which seems a bit crazy and none of this was disclosed when we booked. We had stayed there several times before and noticed they were starting some work a bit ago, but nothing is done months later. I’m not sure how they can be open with all that going on.

The food was the only good thing about this hotel rooms weren't as clean as they should be. Housekeeping was lazy laundry was lazy barely had towels and their couch beds were broken and they knew they were broken. They were rude and the rooms didn't have the amenities they should have as far as body wash paper towels extra toilet paper pool was shut down for renovation they drilling early in the morning when people are sleeping. Key cards would stop working had to use a promotional code just to use the wifi. If I was you id save my money we spent 1400 dollars for 6 days and it was the worst hotel we've ever stayed at and spent our money for. Beds were double beds instead of Queen beds for couples and children to sleep in. If I were you I'd save my money because its super hot its not air conditioned some rooms phones dont work and they had no batteries in the remotes it was horrible.

Was under construction, roof leaked, no water in hotel room next morning so couldn't brush teeth, use bathroom or shower.

Staff was great, great value, room size, comfy beds Was under construction, roof leaked, no water in hotel room next morning so couldn't brush teeth, use bathroom or shower.
-
under renovation which was not mentioned, room is run down with gashes and rips across furnitures and curtain. I am not sure how this hotel has a 8.0 review average score. There is no public amenities.
-
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Homewood Suites. The hotel was under construction and should not have been accepting guests. The elevator button was totally in between wires which is not safe on top of everything. I would not recommend this hotel until the renovations are complete and the cleanliness and service improve.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Homewood Suites. The hotel was under construction and should not have been accepting guests. The room was not clean, and the bathroom had visible stains. The property appeared to be severely understaffed, and none of the advertised amenities were available or functioning. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel until the renovations are complete and the cleanliness and service improve.
