This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Homewood Suites. The hotel was under construction and should not have been accepting guests. The elevator button was totally in between wires which is not safe on top of everything. I would not recommend this hotel until the renovations are complete and the cleanliness and service improve.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Homewood Suites. The hotel was under construction and should not have been accepting guests. The room was not clean, and the bathroom had visible stains. The property appeared to be severely understaffed, and none of the advertised amenities were available or functioning. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel until the renovations are complete and the cleanliness and service improve.

The hotel failed to disclose that it was under construction when I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, I was not given the king suite I reserved. Instead, I was placed in an ADA room where the toilet was dirty, clogged, and the furniture was covered in stains. The room looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. I was then moved to a second room, a two-bed suite, which was also in unacceptable condition. After that, I was finally moved to a third room—all in the same day. Housekeeping was supposedly provided every other day, but they never came. I had to call the front desk just to ask for basic service and even for more toilet paper. When I asked why housekeeping never showed up, the front desk employee was dismissive and unhelpful, saying he had no idea why they hadn’t come. The only reason we stayed was because the hotel was pet-friendly and we were traveling with our dog. Otherwise, we would have left and found another hotel. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, dirty rooms, multiple room changes, and unhelpful staff made for a very disappointing stay.

Don’t stay here until their renovations are finished. There is no AC on the main and second floors. When our AC stopped working in our room, we told the front desk and nothing was done. It wasn’t until we randomly were asked by the maintenance manager how things were going that we actually got help. It’s because of him I’m giving this property 2 stars. Twice when our room was “cleaned” they did the bare minimum and didn’t even empty garbages. Would not stay here again.

Had to change hotels because of the hotel being under construction and the pool was not in use because of the construction. There was dust throughout the hotel which not only started my allergies but my mom's as well.

Would not stay here again.

Under renovations they could have told people before u booked rooms. No wasn’t going to stay , no pool. They charge you for all amenities and don’t have them

We booked this hotel because it had a pool and fitness room. We were not informed ahead of time which put a damper in our vacation. The staff was friendly and the room was nice

Location is great Staff was almost non existent. Talked to one person at check in who said very little and was not friendly. Never saw another staff member after that. Did talk to one on the phone about a charge on my card and they were super rude. Hotel is under construction but was dirtier than it should have been. Our room was not great.

The room had a bad smell, the beds were very uncomfortable, and even my children complained that they could not sleep because the beds were too hard. The couch was horrible and felt like sleeping on wood. The hallways and the room smelled very bad, almost like mold or something rotten. The renovations also made the place feel worse, not better. I paid $569 for two nights, and for that amount of money, I expected a much better experience. What made it even more disappointing was that shortly after checking out, my son needed to use the bathroom, and when we went back inside, we were told there was no restroom available. I had just been a guest there only minutes before, so that was very upsetting. I would not recommend this Boston location unless major improvements are made, especially with cleanliness, comfort, smell, customer service, and guest accommodations.

The hallway had a terrible smell.

I wish they would have mentioned they are under construction. The pool And the gym are not available due to construction. Our car window was smashed in the parking lot. The breakfast closed minutes before 10am, so we were not able to eat breakfast. Overall very disappointed and dissatisfied. Will not be staying here again.

Outdated rooms, 1990 ceiling fan in bedroom. Photos looked much nicer than in person. Arrived to find black plastic covering walls and floor. Fitness center closed and pool closed for renovations without any notifications boosted on hotels.com. upon arrival they offered to call to find us another room but nothing could fit our group. We booked weeks prior to flights based off amenities and photos looking nicer than other area rooms. Way over priced for area and quality.

Wouldn’t recommend.

We were not informed of extensive renovations. First room assigned had 6 buckets in front of room to catch water from cieling leak. We had to request a new room. Breakfast area used by construction workers enjoying our breakfast. Seats in dining area were filthy as well as seat in our room, the spare blanket was filled with cigarette burns all over, behind toilet seat it was filthy. Permanent residents were taking plates of breakfast meats and were rude and nasty to help. Permanent guests sitting in lobby watching tv with their dog on sofa. Pool, gym and lobby bathroom were not working. This was a 20th wedding anniversary that we drove 5 hours to join our friends who flew in from Texas and it was a disaster. We finally got to speak to mgr as we checked out and he said to let you know and he would make it RIGHT because we were never informed of the construction going on. So for all of the above inconveniences we are requesting a FULL refund from this terrible experience.
