Under construction. Next to Sonic and the lights and noise from the restaurant were brutal. Black out shades should be installed while remodeling . I went to work out and could not get the door of my room to open to get out. Had to call the front desk for help. The dining area was covered in plastic and the gym was closed. They sent me next door to the Hampton. I suggest they close the dining area and send everyone next door for breakfast as well. I get the construction issues, but better planning on stages of construction would have made the say more bearable. Lost a lot of sleep and couls not get the air conditioning to work properly, Brutal night and a big fail on the part of Homewood Suites. The only redeeming quality was the staff had to put up with all kinds of issues and they were very capable.

hotel was under renovation. This was not reported in the reservations page. Breakfast was terrible. Powdered eggs?? Many food items had run out. Coffee urn empty for 15 minutes.....

The place is being renovated. The lobby restroom was piled up with paper on the sink and no toilet paper. When I told the front desk they said it was in the website that the place was being renovated. The attitude was terrible. When I spoke to the front desk they said they would turn it over to the manager and see what he could do to compensate me. Nothing was done. I got this place because I wanted to bar b Que for my daughter who we were dropping off for college. The pool was closed. Bad experience I will never stay here again. Had I known it was being renovated I would have gone elsewhere also the place smells. Pic shows no paper in toilet and pile of trash on sink. Gross

Air conditioning didn’t work.

Was under construction. I was only informed upon arrival, no compensation offered. Elevators are terrible. The whole place smells of cigarettes and weed. Room service missed a few days even though I asked. Stains on sofas and chairs in the room. Breakfast is extremely basic. They take the trash out by wheeling it through the breakfast area. Shower is weak and the temperature cannot be controlled.

The construction, the pool and work out room were not available, the room, particularly the bathroom, was not well maintained, the breakfast was not appetizing. I have cancelled future reservations for this location.

Breakfast was great. We didn't realize they were renovating during our stay, so the pool wasn't available. Outside of that our stay was fine.

The location was good for Boston and Salem. The sign for the hotel was not there so getting deliveries was not easy also their pool and fitness room were both closed for renovations which they did not tell us about before our stay.

The room and staff were great!

Exceptional

The staff was very helpful but I had to call often. Towel bar fell off the wall and tub drain issues. Uncomfortable old worn couch and stale smelling room. They were sold out so no moving option. I was traveling with an elderly parent who didn’t want to move after settling. Disappointed overall, and I don’t like to give bad reviews.

Arrived to find the hotel undergoing a massive, obviously pre-planned renovation. Many amenities were unavailable. I appreciate the renovation, but am disappointed in the stay as this was not denoted when the reservation was made. A piece of advice, if your going to do major demolition work let people know in advance. To sell a hotel on pictures of something that no longer exists is criminal.

They agreed to refund me after 15 phone calls and multiple hang ups and finally a refund for a trip I was definitely not taking and still they have not refunded me and I sense this property which as a Hilton rewards member does not uphold the Hilton hospitality I have come to enjoy in other properties. Have you issued the credit

My stay here started off terrible traveled all the way from East Hartford CT wi5h my grandkids to get to a hotel under construction and worse NO POOL staff at front desk she was awesome wish I remembered her name she found many pool alternatives for me but was just heartbreaking for my grandkids that they had no pool and I had chatted with an agent prior to leaving to my stay and was notified that pool was working

Black paint on our bed, trash piled in the hallways. However; the best part was upon check in being told I was aware of renovations which I WAS NOT. We booked for the pool which was closed. Very disappointed. Would not recommend or stay there again.

The room was exactly what I was looking for when I needed a place to stay with my 5 bridesmaids. We wish the pool was open but it was good for a 2 day stay.
