    The hotel was under construction which we were not informed about. Parking was limited, amenities were unavailable, yet the price was still very high. Shower/bathtub was not cleaned before our visit and two of the outlets did not work. Will not return.

    The bed was comfortable, the towels were great. Pillows also were great. The cooling system worked well. The shower also was good, as was breakfast. We were never able to work the tv, there were no instructions. The cooling system was being held up by 2 pieces of wood. The coffee maker had to be moved to the bathroom because there was no electrical outlet nearby. There was no waste basket in the bedroom, only in the bathroom. This was not the usual standard we are use to when staying at Hampton. First impressions are important, with that in mind, the carpet in the elevators is filthy.

    There was som remodeling going on…but still great stay! Staff was so friendly and checked on us a couple of times! The parking was great, room was clean, and yummy breakfast!

    But I do have to say that both Bryon and Mark were amazing! They went above and beyond for us. They did their absolute best under very trying circumstances to make our trip very comfortable!!! We truly appreciate all their effort and understanding and we cannot say enough about them. They have been dealing with these renovations since November and I feel sorry they are having to deal with these circumstances but they handled all the challenges like pros!!!! Thank you for all you did to make this stay comfortable and enjoyable!!!!

    We were unable to use our reservation - losing a very much needed $500. We tried to cancel on the hotels.com app and could not. We needed that money for something else - have trying to cancel.

    The property was having renovations. The carpets were dirty. The swimming pool was closed. Empty boxes were stacked all around the property.

    I like that Peabody was so close to Salem and Boston. It was easy to get to both locations and we even took a drive up to Maine. The front desk person that was working on the second night that we were there was wonderful. We lost power to our room twice and she got us a new room and even gave us some points. There was a lot of construction on the property. The guy working the first night put us in a room next to a room under construction and we were awoken early. When we first got there, the door to our room wouldn’t open. The front desk guy said to try pulling up the handle instead of pushing down on it. That worked. Breakfast was fine, but because of the construction, it was not what I had come to expect from Hampton Inn. It was just disappointing overall. Especially since we had just stayed at a Hampton Inn in Niagara that was spectacular.

    The front desk staff was very nice. I was unaware there was renovations during my stay. No pool which was my go to for my kids. Only one outlet worked in my room and that was in the bathroom. The wifi was inconsistent and would go in and out.

    Big rooms, newly renovated and clean! Lobby area, fitness and pool all under renovation as well as the breakfast room! Once finished it should be very nice! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful!

    Everything was fine considering a renovation was going on. The front desk staff keep talking about amenities that were "awesome" but they didn't have them right now because of the reno. That was annoying.

    Really bad experience, Hotel.com didn’t say that the hotel was under construction, there were no amenities, pool was closed, there was no lobby or a place to sit to have breakfast, the place looked very trashy… I wouldn’t trust Hotel.com for any future reservation.
