First off let me say if I could give 0 stars I would. The pictures in hotels.com are misleading, false advertising and need to be updated to how hotel really looks in person. The staff was not rude they were just unconcerned. My husband has asthma and hotel is supposed to be non smoking, but the first room I was issued the room and the 3rd floor smelled of cigarette smoke. The TV didn't work, and had no signal. attendant acted as if I didn't know how to work a tv. Second room I was issued smelled a lot better, but neither the refrigerator nor the freezer worked and it was hair all over the top of the toilet. She didn't want to give me a different room. So I cancelled, they said they would give a refund through hotel.com, but conveniently you guys can't get in contact with the hotel manager to issue a refund and give me back my money. I call scam until I see other wise. If the hotel is to a persons liking, Great, but if you have a problem and want a refund they are going to steal your money. Run far away from Baymont Inn in Pearl MS

To begin with when I went to check in I was told that even though I had made the reservation AND paid for everything online I was asked to pay another $50 deposit on top of that. We get to the third floor and step off the elevator and it’s HOT! Like 80 degrees or more in the hallways. I open the door to the room and it’s even hotter in there!! And it stinks!! The AC was not even on in the room. We turned it on and hot air was all it was blowing. I asked the front desk about it and she told me to unplug the unit to restart it. That did work but I’m still dripping sweat for the next 3 hours while the room is trying to cool off. I open the mini fridge to put my drinks and food in it and IT DOESNT WORK!!! The freezer portion wasn’t even cold. Ice machine was only on the first floor, the pool was locked up and the gym is inside the pool area so no gym entry either. There was no seating area outside to hang out in. For as much as I paid for this room I should have at least been able to receive the comforts that it advertised. It was horrible and if I could have gotten a refund and slept in the car I would have been better off.

Okay hotel definitely needs updating. Asked for toilet paper and front desk told us they were out.

Great place to stay while visiting the city. Will be returning for sure.

The staff was very helpful. Not the best hotel. But good for the price and a one night stay.

Stay was good, I just feel like the furniture and Beds are outdated.

Room was dusty and smelled bad. Stayed for 10 total minutes and just checked out and left and found a better place to stay

Breakfast was disappointing, with rubbery eggs, sausage, spoiled milk, and hard biscuits. The staff came across as unwelcoming, as if our presence was an inconvenience. On a positive note, the rooms were decent and the Wi-Fi worked well.

I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The place is clean and quiet. Very nice staff, and the place is exactly as you’d expect it to be for the price.

Room ok

Room was neglected. There was obvious signs of damage prior to entering the room. Staff was not very friendly. Over all it was not a good stay.

The area was convenient but the property is older and you can tell

Overall I did not enjoy my stay, we ended up checking out and checking into another place. The hotel did not smell great and the room was not throughly cleaned. Front desk staff was rude and almost never at front desk. Breakfast was not good and there weren’t many options.
