Best Western Plus Philadelphia Convention Center Hotel

I enjoyed my time there, the staff were on point.

The breakfast wasn't very good—the eggs were burnt. The hospitality was decent when I first checked in, but the service declined after that. I had to track down housekeeping just to have my trash removed. Additionally, several amenities were unavailable during my stay, and the photos online were misleading, making the experience disappointing overall.

Great location, very clean rooms and property. Staff was very helpful, they offer complimentary breakfast was good turkey sausages not so much but overall everything was fully stocked. No parking on property however lots of meter street parking.Would definitely stay again💕💕

Very nice hotel, clean room

Shower was not working. Water trickled out of the fixture, but was not airborne.

I like the location to the Amtrak and the free breakfast. I also liked the security measures, like requiring a room card to enter the hotel after 9:00 pm. I didn't like the slow elevator, clogged sink and lack of body wash.

Great experience

It was ok. The location did not feel safe for me ad the family. There was no onsite parking and I had to park across the street and spend $50 on the parking. Int he room there was a used shoe on the floor. The beds were not soft, so hard. It just didnt feel how I thought it would. I believe the area and stay were not what I expected.

No parking. A good walk to a parking lot 30 bucks to park. Our sheets and comforter were wet. I would imagine from changing them. They wanted to give us new comforter not sheets. It was an arguement to get the wet sheets changed. Breakfast was at 7 and we had to leave at 6:45. They said they put the cold stuff, begals, pastries, fruit out at 6:30 and hot stuff at 7. The next morning I asked I couldn’t get the desk worker out of her phone to talk about it. I am sure this place is great for convention hall or whatever you purposes are down town. But if your up early with kids look elsewhere.

No BAD REVIEW here about this location My room was clean. I even extended stay the management without having too much pushback. The staff was nice. Well mannered spoke english. I definitely will book again at this location if I’m ever in Philadelphia.

Was then informed 'the cleaning staff does 'this' every weekend'. So I guess 'when the cat is away...' Informed I would leave, go grab a bite, and asked what time would have been ok to return. To which they responded 'it is up to you ma'am'..... Well.....clearly not, since I have no room, and was told this was the cleaning staff's MO every weekend, since they 'do not update in the system....so then I guess no one could check manually/verbally. So I am assuming, there is a lack of management on the weekends? Went to grab a bite with my husband, returned around after 4:30ish. Room was ready. And was promptly reminded of what time check out was. Seeing I paid for a 3:00 check in, and a 11am check out. These times seem to just be implied, and not actually honored. Sad thing is. The girls at the front desk were VERY nice! held my suitcase for me and everything. I guess this was a far as going above and beyond would go for this hotel.

Breakfast ending at 9:30am is earlier than any other place I've stayed at. It's typically 10 or even 11. Didnt get to enjoy. Shower head was a bit old and rusty. Should get rust free ones. The water pressure was also kinda low.

The general manager is ridiculously rude and I do not recommend he work in hospitality.

Upon arrival, my 14 year old daughter and I had 10/15 minutes to drop our bags off, change, and leave for our event. We got there and there was already a line of 4-5 different people/families wanting to check in but no workers. After about 10 minutes, a worker came out and informed us that prior to our arrival, the front desk worker walked out and there was no one there to check us in. She said another worker was on their way but unsure of the time it would take to get there. At first, they thought an hour to and hour and a half. Later, they said 30-45 minutes. My daughter and I changed in the bathroom and checked our bags. It was such a huge inconvenience and we were extremely tired already.

Worst place to stay. They had blood on the sheets

We got there an hour early and asked to check in early. They said it will be an extra $25. I didn’t have an issue with that. But the room given to us has a window but facing a wall. That was disappointing. We had a king bed but the pillows were super small and uncomfortable. The. I took off my shoes and left my sock onto walk around the room. As soon as I stepped on the carpet near the table, my sock got soaked by something that was wet on the carpet. That felt nasty. Oh and they also lock the front door of the hotel even during daytime. That just gives a major warning. I asked why and if the place is safe. The staff just said there a homeless people walking around and warned me to only walk around towards the convention center and not the north side of the hotel. In the morning, I turned on the shower and there was not hot water. I waited for 10 to 15 minutes with running water and nothing. I tested the sink and it was the same. I tried calling the front desk and there was no answer. So I had to take a cold shower. Good thing it’s not winter. When I told the front desk when we headed down for breakfast, he said he will get it checked. Breakfast was also disappointing. One of the waffle maker makes the waffle stick. Coffee machine was dispensing hot dirty water with no coffee. Eggs were burnt. Toaster was consistently on and won’t pop up. Will not be staying here the next Philly trip.
