Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City-Convention Center

The room was clean & the breakfast options were great for complimentary level. I didn’t get my drinks or snacks I’d paid for in the reservation- but I wasn’t too upset about it honestly. It was a quick trip. They do have feathered pillows- bring your own pillow if you have an allergy. The comfort of the bed was OK- a little too firm for my comfort. Overall, I will stay there again. Valet is $75, but there is self parking up the street.

Great place to stay-clean, near the Reading Market and Chinatown, nice staff, and great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed it

Overall, our stay was great. Front desk and concierge staff was very helpful and approachable. Great selection of breakfast items. Room was clean and beds are comfortable, we all had a good night sleep. Location was near the train station, Reading Terminal Market and restaurants. The only minor complaint I have was that the tub didn't drain fast so there was a pool of water while showering. Also, after check in, when we first entered the bathroom, there is soiled smell.

Front desk associates...Andrew and Ariana were wonderful....however, my room wasn't clean for 3 days after calling and visiting front desk multiple times....no clean towels, etc. Finally on 4th day Andrew spoke with the supervisor and my room was finally cleaned with clean towels and sheets...never did I encountered anything like this...but it didn't ruin my vacation.....kinda hesitant in booking Hampton again, with the every other day service....

The breakfast hours are congested within the small dedicated area. The mattress are too soft. The hotel is well located for an easy access to main city attractions. Personals were really kind

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Reading Terminal Market. Breakfast was decent. Valet and hotel staff were friendly, but the property has seen better days. The elevator floors were dirty, and our bathroom had not been cleaned well. There was hair (quite a bit) in the tub, and it was never cleaned despite our stopping by the front desk to request it be cleaned. Additionally, the tub had been painted over and large pieces of the paint had peeled off. The tub drain was rusted, and the caulk surrounding the tub and sink faucet were quite dirty. Valet parking is $71 a night PLUS a convenience fee.

I stayed for four days and no one came to clean the room. On the third day, I called several time to front desk, they told me the room will be cleaned until later in the day when I called and they said those cleaning are gone. The same thing was done to my friend that we lodged together in the same hotel. All the trash, towel etc were left dirty in the room for four days.

Very nice and clean room, breakfast good and very friendly staff

The toilet in our room had to be flushed three times with any use - even for just toilet paper to go down. They should also put extra rolls of TP in the rooms. The breakfast staff was pleasant during the week. The weekend breakfast staff was not helpful when asked for a bag - the weekday staff did give a bag when requested. So maybe explain policy to all staff? The valet service was great.

Very convenient location to Reading Market. Will stay here more in the future

The room was quite comfortable and clean with lots of space and a loveseat. Always nice to have other furniture than the bed and desk chair. The bed was comfortable, but squeaked a bit. The bathroom wasn't awkwardly spaced which seems to be the norm when traveling these days. Breakfast was overcrowded. There wasn't enough seating. They also ran out of the hot breakfast by 8:30a which i feel like shouldn't happen. The only protein were boiled eggs left. Plenty of carbs to toast or scoop though. Lol

Also, folio should automatically be sent to customers. If not via email, at least the night before check out. If a room is ready, and the hotel doesn't have full occupancy, why are you charging your guest additional funds to check in?

Great response from staff when we had a check in problem related to two people arriving at different times on 2 different but related reservations. Front desk and GM got the problem solved in a matter of a few minutes.
