Aloft by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown

All of the staff, front desk, valet, bar we're outstanding. I was particularly appreciative of the changes I needed to my reservation and how the front desk stuff into the problem to fix it for me.

Nice, clean, efficient for a short stay in the city. Excellent location.

Overall very nice stay! Room was clean but chair in room had some stains on it. Other than that was very convenient location

Location was excellent.

After the hell I went through with this hotel, which charged me for not staying there and refused to cancel my reservation. Customer service was terrible and management inconsiderate. If they are unable to help due to an honest mistake, I wouldn’t be comfortable staying at a place like this because in the event of an issue, they wouldn’t want to help. Don’t recommend this hotel, the other Marriott Downtown is a better accommodation.

Staff was friendly and the location is nice, the hotel didn’t have any shower soap for our room we we arrived . Other than that I enjoyed my stay , really friendly and helpful staff

The two cons I can think of are that parking there is crazy expensive and not included in stay, though that's pretty typical for city hotels; We found an uncovered lot nearby for half the price. The other con is that the bathroom area is what I would say "designed without women in mind" - there was just a single soap dish on the shower wall, so nowhere to place personal toiletries except on the floor, no hooks or towel bars by the sink, and the lighting around the mirrors wasn't great. Other than that, it was very nice, the room spacious and comfy, and would stay again!

Helpful staff and clean rooms

Location was great but wasn’t sure about the safety level at night. Great and comfortable rooms! I wish the valet parker didn’t take the keys, after he left my car waiting for me… I wanted to go, but he was not there. Also, there was an event that looked really fun at the bar, but we didn’t know about it so we missed it. I wish we were told about it.

My room had no soap. No hand soap. No body wash in the shower. There was shampoo luckily. However, there was no hot water. I ran the shower for more than 30 minutes and the max temp was barely above room temperature. And it was late at night so not peak hours, no excuse. I’m not a princess but no soap and no hot water means no return visit and I checked out a day early even though the room was prepaid. ☹️

You really should include breakfast in all of your packages. To spend $300 for one night and not have food for the guests in the morning is unbalanced.

Cancelled on us despite calling to let them know we would be checking in late and made zero effort to help us rebook.

It was clean, quiet, and in a great location to walk the old city.

Great Location

Best Aloft I have stayed. Clean and spacious room, friendly staff, lobby area with nice amenities. They had a watch party going on for some World Cup matches. Great location too! I'd def come back!
