perfect location to get around on foot with 2 children! really can't think of anything I didn't like.

Excellent location, very nice hotel

Location is great for sightseeing (and near to convention center if needed) and can explore many attractions by foot. Hotel was in good condition and the rooms nice and spacious, but inadequate lighting made the room feel dark. Front entrance requires several steps and accessible entrance requires use of a side door and lift, thru a couple doors and a non-straight route so was not an easy accessible route to enter/exit. Biggest disappointment was staff seem very disinterested in their job and poor to no customer service skills. You don’t feel welcomed or valued as a guest, even if you have Elite status.

It would have been helpful to know that there was an ADA elevator to street level which not brought to our attention until a housekeeping staff brought it to my wife’s attention on checking out.

We didn’t even check in until after midnight we literally just slept and left but what I did not know is there is no fan in the room -it is strictly a preset AC thermostat on the wall that could not be lowered anymore than it already was. When it would stop every 15 minutes or so it was so silent I couldn’t stand it. If you are a person that needs any sort of white noise don’t stay here. After about six in the morning, all I could hear where the sounds of cars people going up and down the hall people knocking on doors. Also the toilet ran all night long. It sounded like the water was running. It was terrible. I closed the door to the bathroom and it did not mask the sound. On a positive note the bed was super comfortable, but I did not sleep more than a few hours.

Nice clean property and room thats right in the center of philly with plenty to do near by. Bed was comfy but pillows sunk when using them, like FLAT! So bring your own if you can. Bathroom was nice with extra towels and washcloths but the shower drain was not working and water ended up spilling onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast was delicious with good size portions. The hotel will give you vouchers for breakfast that are worth $25 each if you add breakfast when you book and I suggest doing that because each plate is around $22 to $25 dollars. The bartender will take your vouchers and subtract $25 off your bill per voucher and if it doesn't cover the whole bill then you just pay whats left. Our bill was $68 total but with the vouchers we paid $18! All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

The staff especially the valet staff were so accommodating and helpful.

There was blood on the sheets in my room.

The staff was top notch! From the check-in process to the valet staff and maintenance everyone was super friendly and helpful. The property was clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Philly.

Staff were great

The check-in was quick, the location was so convenient and, as mentioned, staff was very helpful. I must say the valet staff was exceptionally helpful in recommending restaurants, holding the door and a smiling "Good Morning"!

There was a strong sewage smell near the entrance for two days, and the trash in front of the elevator was never cleared away. There was no water in the room, so I went to the lobby to buy some, but I had to wait a long time to get a staff member’s attention. This was quite different from my previous visit, so I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

Everything was great but the lights were very dim at night when drapes are closed

The room was not clean when I got back. I went in the hallway for towels soap and lotion.

The hotel is in a great location! Staff were awesome! My reason for 3 stars, is the common area on the 5th floor. It looks cool & seems like a creative use of the space. Until your room (518) is right next to it. All acoustics in the common area echo into the room. And there were people laughing and yelling until after 3am. I'm sure they didn't realize how much the adjacent rooms could hear. Idk, maybe have quiet hours in that space? Or better insulation to the windows of the rooms that share a wall with the space. If we hadn't had that issue both nights of our stay, I'd definitely give 5 stars.

They did not come clean or replace towels. When I ask they told me they only do it every other day. I payed for two nights I expect to have my room clean and supplied up for both nights
