The coffee station and the restaurant selection of food were minimal and the coffee was basically like drinking colored water. $ 5.00 for one bagel with nothing on it and anytime we went to get one they never had one . Other than that the stay was great.

beautiful hotel with friendly staff. very close to multiple restaurants and places to visit. you must stop by reading terminal for the indoor farmers market! only con is the really soft pillows but not enough to keep me away from the notary. i highly recommend to stay here

I give this property a good rating rather than excellent because of the restaurant. We had a hour wait for a Turkey sandwich after asking 3 different times. We finally just left without eating. That really was the only issue. Location, room and staff were excellent.
-
I really liked the hotel. Breakfast was included which is always nice. The biggest negative was the car valet. You pay a very high amount to park your car at the hotel and it takes one hour to get it upon check out. We called to the valet 30 minutes before we even left our room and still waited an additional 30 minutes after reaching the lobby to get our car. This put a damper on the entire stay.

From the front desk to the maintenance man who came to fix our shower drain, every one of the staff were all very helpful. If I ever return to Philadelphia I will stay at the Notary Hotel

Staff at this location was very polite and helpful!
-
Nice and easy check in with fresh ice water available in the lobby. Good size room with a robe & slippers which I always appreciate. Plenty of towels as well as nice soap products. Cute, quant and charming property with a great location.
-
Great central location. Really helpful staff. Good sized room. Had its own character and charm rather than feeling like a chain.

The Notary is a beautiful hotel. I just wish you didn't have to pay for the expensive amenity fee when not using them.

Excellent stay would highly recommend it! The room had a wonderful view and comfortable bed. The history of the hotel was evident everywhere and I enjoyed it.
