Great stay! Everything was clean and the staff was very helpful. Would stay again!

It was very difficult to order room service. There were no instructions for it in the hotel room. You had to do it through the TV and the directions were very unclear. I also had an appointment I had to be at so asked for the bell hop to get my bags at a specific time. Called the night before. They were 15 minutes late and only came after I called. Very nice staff though.

The hotel was conveniently located next to Reading Terminal Market, walking distance to historical places/ Independence Hall, subway stations, China Town etc.

There was no gesture of any kind for our significant inconvenience

Location is perfect to center city

Great hotel overall. However, I had something shipped to the hotel via Amazon, and when I called the hotel to confirm that they would allow shipments for guests to the hotel, I was told that they would. Upon claiming my shipment at the hotel’s FedEx, they stated that for some reason they have to manage the packages, I was told that there was a five dollar fee for every package that they would need to manage. They failed to tell me this over the phone days prior. I had two packages so I paid $10. Personally, I think this is something that should be disclosed over the phone to guests if they’re calling to inquire about it. If you have multiple boxes arriving, it might not be a good idea to send them to the hotel if each one is going to cost you five dollars to retrieve.

Best hotel. The staff, food and amenities were AMAZING. The crab cake sandwich at the bar (recommended by the bartender) was by far the best thing I ate my entire visit!! And we ate out many times over our 4 day visit. I do not recommend anything at reading terminal market. Many people raved about the chicken sandwich at the bar too. Conference service was stellar. Staff went out the way to serve our needs & make the experience pleasant. When it was time to leave, I couldn’t find my ticket for my luggage, but the Bellman was so kind and gracious and let me retrieve my things after I identified something within my bag. Used the fitness center a few times and enjoyed the water machine. All around BEST service I’ve received from any hotel and amenities like bowling were very unique. Thank you for making my stay amazing!!

Worn down hotel, we booked it beacuase of location and the pool. No notice until we got to the hotel and when asked where the pool was then we were informed it was closed and under renovation. Bad service, breakfast buffet was tasteless and extremely poor service. Stay away

Excellent service, clean room, and the hotel is located in walking distance to great restaurants and attractions in Philly!

Overall, a good hotel that will meet your basic needs. Location is great for sight seeing although not the safest at night, they do make up for that by having a bar, restaurant, bowling and a deli on site. Staff was great and room was clean upon arrival. However no one cleaned it during our stay, other than I would come back and I do recommend it!

Très belle Hôtel, bien situé dans le coeur du centre ville, bon restaurant sur place.

Room was ready clean enough towels and comfortable.

The room had very limited amenities and lacked basic toiletries that you would normally expect from a hotel of this level. There was also no water provided, and guests have to repeatedly go to the front desk and wait in line to request basic items, which was very inconvenient. The Wi-Fi situation was also frustrating. I was told I needed to sign up for membership to receive free Wi-Fi. Since I was already a member, I asked if they could retrieve my membership number and add it to my reservation. Ms. Joel at the front desk told me she could not do that and that I had to call the number she provided. I was on hold for 25 minutes, then had to return to the front desk to express how ridiculous it was that a Marriott representative could not retrieve a membership number. At that point, another team member said they could help with it immediately. The highlight of my stay was Ms. Fajah, who was professional, kind, and truly helpful. She resolved the issue right away, apologized, and even compensated me with breakfast. Unfortunately, despite Ms. Fajah’s excellent service, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. For the price I paid, I do not feel this hotel provided good value.

While it was a short stay, I will say it was one of the best I've had in Philadelphia. The staff were so nice and helpful, the room was immaculate, room service was delicious. This will certainly be my go to stay whenever I'm in the city.

Red Bull $8 … lounge closed on the weekend. Otherwise all good. Excellent location downtown.
