Canopy by Hilton Philadelphia Center City

This felt like a boutique hotel and was a fabulous stay. Quiet, small, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Bathroom shower was amazing. Room quiet. Fitness centre was above average for hotel (though space for mats is needed), restaurant was pretty good and an easy place to stop. And the perfectly situated location can’t be beat.

I found this hotel room much smaller than the photos showed, My biggest complaint is that the mattress and pillows were dirty. When I peeled back the sheets to check the mattress (which I always do) I was shocked to see stained mattresses on both of the beds and discoloration. The pillows were the same - stained and discolored. The rug in the room was not clean.

Hotel has a great location and staff is kind. Rooms are quite spacious and well decorated. However, the rooms are not sound proof. The neighbouring room was noisy, both because of a dog barking and a loud occupant. Hotel told me they couldn’t do anything about it. It’s great that the hotel allows dogs, as a dog owner myself. However, noise complaints should be dealt with appropriately. I understand that it is the dog owners responsibility to control their pet, but it is incumbent upon the hotel to ensure that all guests have a great experience, especially considering the price of the room. I ended up purchasing earplugs and slept just fine.

Beautiful property, food and drinks great in Wayward restaurant. We love Chelsea at the bar. She was the best!!

Updated hotel, very convenient location, small yet comfortable room, and very friendly staff. Walking distance to Reading terminal, independence hall, lots of restaurants and bars. Great short stay.

Excellent place to stay for a girls weekend.

The staff was great. For what you pay per night is not worth it. All the amenities was just a gym and the food made my wife sick.

Canopy is a beautiful hotel and very comfortable. The service was fantastic. Front desk staff were helpful and fulfilled every request we had. It's in a great location and close enough to walk to many of the historical sites and restaurants.

While the hotel itself was visually appealing and clean. The front desk seemed nice enough. I had no issues with valet. However, room was smaller than expected. But to be fair, they list the square footage. The room door didnt shut all of the way unless you pulled it. The bathroom door doesn't lock and has a small gap. The big one is no microwave in the room. The in-drawer cooler didnt work and ai couldn't get the safe to work. The most comfortable firmness level of a bed is subject but it was too soft for my wife so it made her body's ache.
