Hotel is close to everything

A whole apartment for as much (or less) than a hotel room. Highly recommend. Only wish they had pool towels at the pool, but a minor quibble.

This apartment was great! Also enjoyed the surrounding area.

The hotel was amazing. Right in the heart of Philly center city. We had a beautiful corner room with views of Market St and the pool. The sound proof windows did a great job of keeping the noise at bay from Market St. My wife and I made time to use the lounge area and heated pool. A must do when staying here. We will definitely be staying here again.

This was my first experience in a ROOST property and it was a great alternative to a classic hotel! The apartment was modern and chic but cozy. It felt like coming home to our own place after walking around the city. The apartment was very clean, well decorated, and comfortable. The 3rd floor amenity floor was gorgeous - beautiful green terraces to hang out on, a spacious and clean outdoor rooftop pool, hang out spots that were empty every time we visited. The location of the building was steps away from Reading Terminal and conveniently located to visit many parts of the Philly. Staff were very kind, polite, and helpful. My only minor issues were that we couldn’t get the in room speaker to work and the central AC was a bit loud and blew constantly unless it was shut off completely. I would definitely stay here again and try other ROOST locations in future travels!

Really great property in an excellent location near my favorite restaurants and a nice organic market. Room was clean, comfortable and nice finishes. Kitchen was great. I loved having plants in the unit too. Staff were also really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Everything but the mattress The bed was not comfy at all

The hotel itself is possibly thw best I have ever stayed in. Very low key vibe and very nicely decorated rooms with all sorts of amenities. I had a full washer & dryer and frigidaire and stove. And my own coffeemaker. Apple tv on the room. The pool (heated) was fresh and lovely. The gym looked very well equipped. The "den" with its open fire place was a favourite place to gather for a game of chess in the evening. Mr Sam and all of his extremely serviceminded and courteous team has made my stay the past week so good I almost did not want to go home. I had many meetings in the board room and every gueat was deeply impressed by the quality of the staff and premises. And everyone cursed their decision to stay at the Marriott or The Ritz-Carlton. Thw atmosphere created in this absolute gem of a hotel is incomparable to your normal hotels. "I don't always go to Philadelphia. But when I do, I prefer Roost East Market." Stay happy my friends! The best hotel stay my family and I have had in over a decade! We enjoyed the space, cleanliness and ideal location.

The apartment was very comfortable. Easy walking distance to major sites including Reading Terminal Market. Pronounced Redding by those who know. Slightly better location instructions. Most signage says Girard Apartments. It does say East Roost but we missed that at first.

The only hiccup was parking. There’s a garage beneath the property that charges up to $50 a day. Unfortunately, coming and going isn’t seamless without resetting your payment each time. I’d definitely appreciate the convenience of a valet service. The bedding was plush, the room stayed perfectly temperate, and the shower and bathroom functions worked well. Its prime location near Reading Terminal Market made grabbing breakfast or lunch each day effortless, adding a layer of convenience to an already enjoyable stay.
