Reviews
-
they never checked me or my passenger in and were so rude
-
For breakfast and the room, you can see fruit flies flying around sometimes. The location is convenient though.

All of the above

The basement room was large but basic, very dusty, cobwebs in the corners, obvious signs of non-use and not terminally cleaned before my arrival. Pest trap in bathroom. The wall AC unit didn’t work, putting out room temp air even on coolest setting. Parking was easy and close to hotel entry, $35 cash. Night staff were great.

Room was very clean, bottom of mattress had no signs of creepy crawlies. The bed was extremely comfortable. In fact, it was so comfortable I accidentally slept in and missed their breakfast. It was quiet too, I never heard anyone else making noise. The man at the front desk was nice.

We were given a room that did not lock and were not offered a room we were told that is what they had bc he gave the room I booked online away. the rooms are clean & nice, the lobby is a mess and you have to wait for someone to buzz you in at the door. The parking cost is atrocious ($35) for a low security alleyway parking.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel.

Great location and friendly staff.

Buyer beware: do not pay more than $150 a night. My review is complicated by the fact that the pricing model left me paying almost 3x what the rate was the day of our stay. Hotels.com couldn't refund me because I didn't ask for a price adjustment 12 hours before check-in, and the hotel couldn't refund me because I used Hotels.com. When I booked my trip, the prices of hotels around the city were escalated due to the World Cup and the 4th of July festivities. However, once the room rates plummeted by a significant amount, it would have been considerate to receive an adjusted rate. Pros for the hotel: proximity to areas of interest in the city, walkability, air conditioning. Cons- price inflation, expensive parking, hand sanitizers near elevators remained empty the entire stay even after we mentioned it, stairwells were unkept, the room had a musty smell, the bathroom door was not clean, shampoo and conditioner were empty, and staff was not friendly or helpful. Overall, this was a hotel that wanted to be a higher-end hotel, but it was not at all. Very disappointed in our stay.
-
Not well maintained, needs lots of repairs and it appears it wasn’t cleaned regularly
-
Room very clean. There was no fitness center just a room with treadmill being used as storage We were not informed about breakfast but the person checking us in was very friendly.
-
The hotel was very old and not well kept, I would not recommend staying here.

Nothing
-
The breakfast was good, but our room was dirty. We changed rooms and the door would stick so you would have to ram your shoulder into it to open it.
-
The hotel rooms are run down. Old dressers and chairs in the room with holes and stains on them. Tv didn't quite work right. Breakfast was the worst with 3rd rated qualities. Awful food.
-
Walls, carpet, sheets in disrepair. No coffee the first day at breakfast. Location was very central and good for on foot exploring. Would only stay again if they fixed and freshened the property.
-
Didn't like having to pay $35/night to park at the property. Carpet in room needs a good steam cleaning too.
-
It was a good stay fora good price. Just what we needed for a quick business overnight.
-
Parking is not easy and lot is expensive not included in your stay.

The hotel was located in a busy part of the city however it was very easy to find. The front desk person that assisted me was very knowledgeable and helpful. The room was clean and more spacious than I expected. And I appreciated that there was complimentary breakfast!
