Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Center City

I picked the property because it was downtown. I made the right choice. The area was close to everything we wanted on our visit.

This is a great hotel downtown. It was very quiet and in a central location. Parking was expensive, but, it is the center of town, so I don't blame the hotel. I would stay here again.

The Staff is extremely helpful especially the Cleaning Staff Ms.Sheila is amazing in customer service.

The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable. The Jr Suite worked out great for a 4 day stay. The only disappointment was the breakfast buffet. The food was on the cold side all 3 days. We took our food to the room to heat it in the microwave and it was very good once warm/hot. We would definitely stay again, just not purchase the breakfast buffet.

Location, staff and dinner!

Nice clean room only complaint is I wish it had a double vanity other than that location was great. Philly is a very walkable city so we enjoyed the location.

The king junior suite was very spacious. The decor is modern and sleek. Everything went well from an easy check-in process and checkout. The restaurant was excellent. The staff was very helpful in answering our queries.

Room was great. Location was great. Reading Terminal Market within steps along with Chinatown. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Stayed here with my partner, the hotel was nice and clean. The room was also clean with a nice comfy bed. No complaints.

Great hotel if your driving in for the reading terminal market or the convention center.

The fire alarm system was activated at about 3:00 am, waking everyone up. The recorded message was played for a good 45 minutes, with strobes flashing in the hallways, but never activating in the room itself. The alarm was intermittent, along with the recording, for the next 2 plus hours. Not once did the air shut down, not once did a strobe activate in the room, and who knows what the elevators were doing. Having been involved with fire alarm systems for over 40 years, I find it hard to believe that the City of Philadelphia's Fire Marshall is ok with what we experienced. God forbid a real fire didn't exist. Over 3 hours of trying to get back to sleep because the alarm was faulty, is unsettling. Other than all of this, the hotel, staff and cleanliness were not equal to the nightly cost of the hotel. One more thing. Pay your staff more, there is nothing more unprofessional as a multi billion corporation, begging patrons to subsidize their staff's pay. Hilton needs to make this clear, in their hotel description. I will not patronize any establishment that begs me to help pay their staff. I walk straight out the door, when I see it.

It had to be one of worst experiences in business travel in recent times. I checked in and was assigned a room that someone was already staying in. I had to come down to get a different room assigned. And the front desk agent was pretty casual about it. And then the toilet would not flush and I had to leave for meetings. When I called, it took almost 10 min before someone picked up the phone and said they will send maintenance. But when I returned, no fix. I had to call again for them to come. Even after the toilet would get stuck and I had to mess w the tank to get it to flush. All in all, I do not recommend

The parking is as convenient as it will get in that location and it’s easy to walk to shopping, the Liberty bell and Chinatown.

Has a low ceiling and charges $40 a day but well worth it. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful
