We really feel that we never are going to use this hotel or neither hotel.com in the future, I attend every year the 3D Printopia convention and this is the first time it is in Philadelphia, beatufiful city, but the experience was frustrating and full of bad surprises, we have reservesations for Thrusday 24th, until Sunday 27th, We arrive Friday and lost Thursday 24th because I choose to reserve the room with the option to not to be able to change the date(big mistake from my part), I called hotel.com and the representative told me can't do nothing to fix it because it's the company policy, anyway my mistake, so we told him to please book me the 2 nights from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th, he did, he sent me the confirmation e-mail, we arrive Friday and Saturday we went to the 3D printing convention, and we come back to the hotel around 2:00 pm to rest for a little while, with the surprise the key didn't work for the elevator, we ask the front desk and they told us we didn't have a room for the next day and we have to leave in 15min to avoid a charge for another day, we told the guys in the front desk we have reservations until Sunday and they didn't find us, so we have to run to the room pack everything because the clock was ticking and go downstairs again to the front desk and ask them again to look for our names with no luck, we told them we park in the garage from the webpage with a nasty answer from one of them, so we left and we went home and miss the convention.

Location is good. Room was clean, bed was comfortable but pillows too soft Person who checked me in completely messed up and charged me double and then I got a cancellation fee message in the middle of the night which gave me anxiety. The other staff were able to sort it out the next day and were very nice and helpful but the issue spoiled my experience

They asked me to pay an additional fee when arriving: I thought it was in case I broke anything, but the money was not given back to me and I received no communication

The entire hotel was so loud. The lobby was so loud it was hard to check in and hear everything. It was loud in the rooftop restaurant, the airconditioning was loud, the bed felt like I was on a ship. there was no breakfast. the barista was rude. it had a good location. even though the listing had said that it had parking, we had to pay $55 a day to park. Comfy bed Walls to thin, we could hear everything inside our room from noises in the hallway and elevator.

Motto concept was fine, if Spartan. Location was in the Rittenhouse Square general area, but on a seedy street.

Everything for my trip was excellent. Great location. Staff was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here

The location was EXCELLENT…A few steps to the bus to Reading Terminal Market and from there easy access to the historical sites I’m not a fan of Mexican food and that was the theme of the in house restaurant. But the drinks on the rooftop bar were amazing

Our room was small, but clean. Bed very comfortable. One thing that was really frustrating was that the alarm clock from the previous guest was set to go off at 6am. It woke us up which was very annoying having gotten in late. It would've been nice if housekeeping staff checks these things. Our iron/steamer was missing when we opened the bag to use it, so this really made it feel like a lack of attention to detail. The person who checked us in barely smiled and made I contact. She did not offer any help or ask if we needed anything. It just didn't feel as welcoming as other places. Next time we'll go somewhere else.
