The hotel staff were terrific- from putting us into a large and well-appointed room on a high floor, to holding the breakfast buffet (not horribly expensive, large selection, and delicious), to allowing a 1 pm check-out. The room was spacious and clean and the price was extremely reasonable .

The room smelled bad, constant smell of marijuana in front of the hotel and the hotel lobby, didn't even have shampoo in shower.. I've stayed here in the past and it was a lot better, but the quality has different gone down over the time.

Near Rittenhouse Square. Nice bar downstairs. Pretty lobby. Valet parking was very expensive compared to other parking facilities.

The Sofitel Philadelphia was a Five Diamond plus stay. The Hotel lobby is beautiful, the rooms were smartly decorated, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Absolutely loved our stay and looking forward to a return visit.
