Hyatt Centric Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia

Nothing I was very disappointed with the room comfort and hygiene. The bed was completely worn out with an old, curved mattress, and the pillows offered no support, making it impossible to get any rest. Furthermore, the sheets did not look or feel clean, which is unacceptable. Major upgrades to the bedding and housekeeping are needed.

Great stay! Very clean hotel. Extremely comfortable beds. Top notch service. Front desk team was very friendly. I called a few times before arriving snd they answered every questions and greeted me with a smile when i arrived

Exceptional

Room was clean; great location and price. Wasn’t a fan of the layout of the room with the toilet and sink being on opposite sides of the room.

It was difficult to gain access to the lobby upon our arrival. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. The front entrance was locked. We had to enter through the side parking garage which could only be access by the attendant who wasn't there. We gained access after another patron exited. After that the stay was comfortable. However, I was not a fan of the room's split bathroom. The split restrooms both should have had sinks.

Location was great, very near everything. The set-up of the room, the toilet's door never completely shut and having the sink in the other room was silly, the floor of the not private shower area was always wet because the towel hooks were behind the shower door when it opened which automatically got the entire floor wet when you got out of the shower. Also, i paid the dog fee and requested several times for a dog bowl, (i also had to request a dog bed, one wasn't provided when i arrived) and only ever received a paper one. I was told a real one was being brought up but it never was.

Great location comfortable , clean room

The room was large 1. The lobby is on the 2nd floor so basically the whole stay you come in from ground floor and never wee anyone from the staff 2. The street that you come into the hotel is small, dirty snd didn’t feel safe 3. I arrived after 13:30 pm and at the end they charged me for an addition of $35 for early check in - i travel a lot around the world snd this never happened to me 4. Staff were not nice and welcoming 5. The power of the water was very low I don’t leave many negative reviews however I don’t recommend this hotel

Exceptional

One thing to note: the entrance to the hotel is on a side street, which I almost missed because I was not expecting it. This has nothing to do with the service of the hotel, but is something to be aware of (I walked to the hotel at nearly midnight and felt perfectly safe). Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a getaway to (or staycation in!) Philly.

Desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. On-site bar and restaurant has a limited menu and the market or pantry has very limited options. Couldn’t find a grocery of any kind nearby.

It was great! The design of the room doesn’t stand for much privacy but I was by myself so that didn’t matter. Desk staff were awesome!

No parking for bigger vehicles

The property is close to many fun spots and there are lots of great places to visit and explore in the area. The parking garage is a little bit off. Seems too small for the bigger vehicles people are driving around these days. Seems a little outdated. Self parking is was fine. The parking leads to elevators that lead to the hotel. The lobby bar is great but a live band would have been nice touch. They have construction equipment going on really early in the morning, I believe they start around 5:30 am or 6:00am. The room glass aren’t sound proof so we heard all the noise coming from the outside. You will see some homeless people walking around. Still recommend La Concha.

I would just say that breakfast was overpriced for a buffet. I’ll definitely come back again !

This hotel checks all the boxes. Friendly staff, clean/modern rooms with all the amenities and right in the heart of Philly. An absolute 5 star rating from me!!
