The staff was excellent, informative, helpful and friendly. They were receptive of all questions. The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. Our room and bathroom spaciest and clean. We ate at the restaurant, the food and cocktails were good. We had a pleasant stay.

I am disappointed that they didn't honor my IHG points because I booked the room with Expedia. This is a problem for me since I travel a lot and I have rewards with many hotel partners.

Stayed here 3 times. Always nice

I got there at 315pm and they tried to tell me my room wasn’t ready when I called ahead to make sure it was ready. Once I let them know it wasn’t acceptable they provided a room. The room didn’t have a steamer so I asked for one and it came 2 hours later once we were leaving for our concert. 60 dollars to park overnight. That’s annoying. Super comfortable bed in a super small tight room. Overpriced and just not attended to how a 500 dollar a night hotel should operate. Go elsewhere,

Staff checked in by text throughout my stay, responded promptly to requests for towels and room service, and took my concerns seriously when an unfamiliar man approached my room. Security followed up and assured me they were monitoring the situation. The room had a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, but it felt more like a nice studio apartment than a luxury hotel room. I did not use the tub because it did not appear as sparkly clean as I would have expected. I also noticed a brownish stain along the edge of the curtain, the bathroom sink drained slowly, and there was a noticeable gap beneath the room door that made me slightly uncomfortable. Room service from Square 1682 was timely and the food was decent, although I expected it to arrive on a tray rather than in a takeout-style bag given the type of hotel. This was not a bad stay by any means, and the attentive communication was a highlight. However, the room and service details did not fully match the luxury experience I anticipated. I am unsure whether I would stay again, although I might consider a larger or upgraded room.

The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. The staff were professional and helpful. They had good amenities, but I would’ve preferred a refrigerator in the room.

Love everything about Hotel Palomar!
-
We could get to our room after we arrived to hotel after normal check in time and was told by the staff that a check in time does not guarantee access to the room..Really…. We had a dog and ended up being late to a family function. Only compensation offered was a free drink. After conversation with staff, They initially agreed to a 12 noon check out Sunday morning. Sunday morning , We go out for breakfast and come back to the room at 11:45 am.. We were locked out of the room. A physically nice hotel but we got treated like 1-star customers. Totally dissatisfied with our stay.

We love staying at this hotel! Everyone is nice, room is wonderful! And you’re right in the middle of everything. We pick the 1 bedroom jacuzzi tub room every time.
