Kimpton Palomar is ine of my favorite hotels in the world. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The happy hour is great abd high quality breakfast included. The property is tastefully appointed.

We came for the World Cup games and left extraordinarily pleased with our accommodations. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the amenities were top tier. You also cannot beat the location. Highly recommend!

All staff, and especially Paddy, were excellent.

The room was tiny. The water pressure was low. The toilet holder was ripped out the wall . I reported this the first day(we stayed 4 nights) and when we left it was still dangling from the wall. The front desk staff didn’t want to be bothered and the valet staff didn’t speak English. I expected a lot more from a Kimpton.

Great hotel, centrally located, with very attentive staff. Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms and great beds. Good spacious bathroom as well. The happy hour in the lobby with free wine was a nice touch.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Special kudos to Irina at the front desk for being so helpful and professional.

Great hotel at a perfect location, feels underrated vs similar hotel in the area. The room is incredible spacious and the hotel gives off a really nice vibe.

my room was tired and worn. drapes were ripped. i complained and they upgraded me to a satisfactory room. initial room left bad impression.

Bed sheet had blood stains. Paint was chipping from the walls and floorboards, which were also badly scuffed. Desk chair was ripped in two places. Room was shabby overall. No streaming on TV. No coffee or tea service in room. A/C blew on and off constantly. Guest booked three nights but left after the first. It took hours on the phone to get someone to authorize a partial refund. The Hyatt Centric is two blocks away. The rooms are fresh and wonderful, the staff friendly and professional, and the rooms cost around the same.
