The Warwick Hotel Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia

They didn’t have the room I booked so they gave us whatever was leftover but would not reimburse us for the difference. The room was not clean, the toilet constantly ran, and there was no hot water. I thought this was a top rate hotel but was very much mistaken! We would never go back.

Exceptional

Light. The AC was not working and we could barely sleep throughout the night. The staff at the front desk were not helpful when called about all the issues we had with the room. We were just told two nights in a row that someone would come to the room to try to fix the AC and to change the lightbulb no one came. Would not recommend this place for the price they charge.

Stay there regularly because I can bring my dog

The Warwick is a beautiful hotel in a great downtown Philadelphia location. The amenities are fairly basic, but the hotel was clean, the staff was courteous, and the location really couldn’t be better. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable place to stay.

​The first room had scratched-up furniture and smelled like a locker room. The second room smelled terrible and looked just as bad. I thought the third room might be decent, but it had a moldy odor, wet clothes left in the closet, a running toilet, and a clogged sink. ​To top it off, the front desk agent was visibly annoyed with me for requesting new rooms not that I cared. Given how much money I spent, I expected a clean, functional room. I will never stay here again.

The location and the spacious room were the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel is in serious need of renovation, and our room looked directly onto a grey wall and an unappealing, poorly maintained area. Overall, while the location was convenient, we would probably consider another option if we were to return to Philadelphia.

Superb

Charged twice. 1 week on no refund. Utter disgrace paid in ful in September 2025 for a 3 nights stay in anune 2026. No response from reservations for my refund.
