Will be staying there every time we go to Rittenhouse. My only complaint is that across from the toilet there’s a clear glass shelf. That shelf is not placed well. My husband and I both hit our heads on it. I put my red shirt on the shelf so that it was more visible to us and we stopped hitting our heads lol but other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel. We travel frequently and for this to be the only thing that I can say about a hotel is rare.

The room was okay; however there were spiders in the corners on the walls. Pest control should spray more. I also had to call maintenance to drill holes in the window coverings because when the wind blew the panes would bow in and out which made an annoying noise. The air conditioner was way too loud. Perhaps this was because the hotel’s shell is a much older building. There was hair in the shower which was also a disappointment. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating upon my arrival which I appreciated. If I visited Philadelphia again I would choose the other new AKA Rittenhouse to experience a more polished and newer room.

Always enjoy my stay here. Staff, facilities, neighborhood are all top notch.

This is a wonderful hotel - GREAT location and the staff is absolutely incredible. Special call-out to front desk professionals Bianca and Jordan, and bellman, Greg, for their exceptional hospitality. I stayed in a suite that included a full kitchen, decorative fire place, seating area, and private bedroom. The room was well maintained and very clean. This is now my 'go-to' hotel in Philly.

Staff was pleasant. Drinks voucher were nice. Large suites. Apartment conversion was very old. bathrooms extremely small.

Center City, near restaurants, museums, Rittenhouse Square Only one elevator and it broke during our stay. Suite was comfortable except for the sofa. The most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever sat on.

Had a great stay, would stay again and would recommend.

Staff was friendly and professional Extremely small bathrooms. Old building. Paint peeling in places. Dark and cold interiors. Felt like an office building

I’m a high maintenance type of traveler and typically stay in 5 star hotels. That said, AKA was a terrific and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The 1 bedroom suite was huge and fully furnished (a fully furnished apartment with complete kitchen). The property was clean, staff was super friendly and helpful and there is even a conference center you can use if traveling for work. My only complaint is noise from the street can get fairly loud, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Anywhere in Rittenhouse Square would have noise. I do highly recommend AKA if traveling to Philly, especially if on an extended stay.

The outside traffic

The location is outstanding, right on Rittenhouse Square. The staff is incredibly helpful and super nice. Doorman will hand you an umbrella on your way out the door if it’s raining and without asking, ask where you are going and try to direct you the most efficient way - lot of traffic and road closures in the city. Attached restaurant, which is nice, but walkable to a million other places too. Again, location really can’t be beat. It’s nice to have more space than a just a bedroom with a bed. A great place to stay in the city.

This hotel was perfect for everything I needed. The studio kitchen was large and well-equipped. The location on Ritttenhouse Square is ideal! I will definitely stay here again.

Spacious 2 bedroom with room for us and two teenagers. Friendly helpful service. Enjoyed brunch at AKA Kitchen.

my one suggestion would be to install a grab bar in the shower for safety

Great staff, great location right in the best part of Philly. So much shopping and restaurants within walking distance. A special thanks to Maria and Greg for making our stay very easy and comfortable. Greg was ready to assist whenever we needed help parking, loading our car, getting to our room, telling us about the area, etc. A great stay overall. The suite we stayed in was very large and comfortable. parking directly on site would be nice, but considering it is a major city, I know it is a hard ask. The closest deck is not far away, just around the corner, and Greg will help guide you to it.
