Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown

So nice and clean 👌 love the room loved the breakfast love the stay

This hotel was actually great. I wish the room had been just a bit bigger - when the chair was used at the desk you could not walk through the room to the beds. But other than that and the view of the HVAC in my room - which I supposed someone has to get! - it was very clean and nice. The shower was great and the couch was a nice addition - It is about 4 blocks from the convention center which is really 5 because you walk through one building to then cross another street and then actually get to the convention center. The restaurant was nice and the food was very good. The staff were top notch!

The bathroom door was hard to close due to delamination on the bottom. Some of the trim around the shower was coming loose.

Its clean, close to the concert venue but can't give 5 stars with no pool. If there is a pool, I didn't see it, couldn't find it.

The hotel is about 10 minutes away from Morgage Matchup Center. Hotel self parking is at the Renaissance Hotel 2 minutes away for $ 34.00. You pay that upon checking in at the Hyatt Hotel. We plan to go back in the future for another great night of Kpop concert and some yummy food close to the hotel .

Good breakfast, great location

Weirdly you had to be 6' plus to adjust the shower head. I did find a used q-tip on the window ledge when first entering the room. More instructions could be given with the room key. Breakfast was ok, but didn't stay real warm. The two front desk clerks we encountered were friendly, and pleasant.

The Valet Parking setup and staff could use a little help and training. Also the restaurant was a little below Hyatt standards in my opinion

Nice hotel, the location is good and pretty quiet. The only thing that I didn't like or agree with. Is if you have to check in early it's $50. I know some hotels do this, but my thing is if you have rooms available, why does it matter when you come? When 4pm only just guarantees your room will be ready. Other than that it's a good hotel.

A great location, close to the airport and walking distance to some good restaurants. Rooms were clean and well appointed and beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was expansive and tasty. Really enjoyed our stay here. Will come back when I'm back in Phoenix.

I want to be clear that my frustration is not directed toward the valet employees themselves. The employees were working incredibly hard and were literally running back and forth to the garage trying their best to get everyone their cars. They looked overwhelmed and were clearly doing everything they could. What concerned me most was the lack of support from management. I did not see the manager check on the employees, offer them water, or do much to assist the guests who had been waiting outside for such an extended period of time. Watching employees repeatedly run back and forth in the extreme heat for hours was honestly concerning from a staff-safety standpoint. Delays can happen, but I expected management to step in, support their employees, communicate with guests, and make sure everyone was being taken care of. The valet employees deserved much better support from management, and as a guest, I also expected better communication and consideration during such a long wait

The staff was very nice and the room was big enough for me and my friends. Also having the breakfast option before our days began was helpful!

The location was one of the best parts—it’s in a great spot downtown and within walking distance of the major sports venues, which made getting around incredibly convenient. We were able to enjoy downtown without having to worry about driving or parking.
