Clean cool spacious hotel Hard to find the entrance at night

Room was nice and clean

The rooms are wonderful and the beds super comfy. The decor is a fun and whimsical with a mid-century vibe. My biggest complaint is the fact that not included in the posted room rates is a $35 per day “resort” fee. This alone is not an issue however there is an outdoor restaurant on the property (Lylo’s) and it becomes extremely vague who owns the pool area. Because even though I pay a resort fee, I was not allowed to use the pool facility freely. Lilo’s commands that no outside food or beverage is allowed in the pool area and their rates for drinks is incredibly expensive for what you get. All drinks are served in Pilsner type glasses and they’re all over $15 each. We ordered four drinks over the course of a couple hours sitting by the pool and the cost was over $82. While the hotel boasts a $15 daily “credit” for use at Lylo’s it buys you next to nothing. On top of that you have to “use it or lose it” daily. You are not allowed to even bring in a cup of lemonade. In addition, the condition of ALL the pool side chaise cushions is deplorable. They are all marked with greasy stains from past users. Especially considering the cost of the “resort fee” and the fact that you cannot bring in any of your own beverages or snacks this was a big disappointment.

Property is convenient to great attractions, restaurants, and easy to get to from PHX Skyharbor. Staff did a great job.

Overall my stay was pleasant, the hotel has a good vibe to it. Fun but relaxing. I would recommend and would also stay again.

Nice spot. Would stay again. Only advice is to make sure to not get a ground level room or anything near the elevators as they are a bit less private but overall great place. If i had to complain, the amenities charge is kinda dumb.

Nice facility and decor. Good pool bar, nearby coffee shop. Fun place to relax. Rooftop bar was reserved for a private party on both nights, so we didn't get a chance to check it out. If you're staying in the same building as the rooftop bar, be prepared for a noisy night

Great hotel the first night. Cute boutique. Had issues with wedding coordinator taking up entire walkways for discussing ceremony plans. Ok, whatever. Second night was a DISASTER! They say YOU must check the calendar for special events happening. They do NOT put wedding party guests near the rooftop bar. Instead, they put others there. We were there for parents weekend. They gave me the option of earplugs, but that doesn't take away the loud bass pounding on the rooms below. Oh, did I mention we had NO hot water until I called down? How? I let the water run for nearly 10 minutes and nothing. It required phone call down to the front desk to fix this. Still, another 5 minutes of running the shower. Yes, close to GCU. Yes, cute rooms. But heaven help you if they have a rooftop experience and you are in the room directly below the bar and hear the pounding of music and jumping on the roof…my ceiling! Wedding dj went until 10:45, then the cleanup sounded like people dropping crates on the ceiling. The front desk said I should’ve checked the events calendar. Why did the front desk staff ensure I was not disturbed by the wedding when I checked in? Why was this MY fault?! The clerk at the desk knew I was there for parents’ weekend. Oh, they did offer earplugs, but that only affects the noise, not the vibration of the bass or jerking motions caused by the cleanup. Visitors beware! Oh, and parking sucks if there is an event.

We would like to see the pool bar stay open later and the roof top be open. This is the 2nd time we've stayed and couldn't get into the bar on the rooftop.

I love this place. What a great vibe and super location.

Very unique hotel. The rooms were comfortable and decent size. The staff was friendly. Perfect hotel for people under 40 that still like to party. We aren't under 40 and we dont party anymore. Im not saying it was uncomfortable as an older person, but there may have been 3 couples our age, including us.

There are no coffee machines in room and no ice buckets. There is a coffee shop that charges you a lot for coffee. We weren’t fans of the concrete floors.

This is more of an “elevated motel”. I didn’t use any of the amenities as was there for business and only there to sleep. I was still charged a resort fee. No vending machines and the hotel lobby had limited selections for late arrivals. The coffee shop on site was excellent. The room wasn’t very clean and felt a bit dingy. Need a car as there is not much around.

Had a great stay at Rise. Staff was very helpful and the room was lovely and spotless. They’ve created a great vibe with fun amenities. Restaurant and cocktail bar with both very good.
