Colonial House Motel

Possible bed bugs. Had a stale mildew odor that we were able to mask with our aromatherapy diffuser. Pillows very thin.

Very comfortable the room was clean but it could use some attention to the outside (paint, clean the walk ways,). Also, when we first walked in it had a strong musty smell but that did not last long. Overall we were pleased. Only 1 ice machine on the second floor, we were on the 3rd floor. Our keys were deactivated on the second day of our 2 days stay. Tried to call the front desk but no ansewr. Went down there and the clerk was laid back in the chair no customers. He fixed new ckey cards and was very nice.

Walking distance to things I went by all the reviews and everybody said that it was a clean hotel I slept on the very top of the bed when I got there the comforter was dirty had white hair all over it they could definitely clean a lot better and get rid of the old furniture the curtains are old the partition outside on the balcony is disgusting they just do not take any time to clean you can tell but I've always heard if you book on booking you get a really bad hotel room we stayed in room 223 parking is terrible....The shower is disgusting didn't even shower there no one mows where river is weeds grown up when you look outside on the balcony there's a trash can right there the place is really run down needs a lot of upkeep it has potential but whoever that's cleaning is doing a terrible job bare minimum. Room 223 handles on shower is black very dirty for $100 stayed in cleaner for cheaper I guess when you go through booking you get terrible rooms the bed was so uncomfortable . Dog hair on beds!!! Very disappointed

Beds not made. Hard bed. No toiletries like shampoo only had soap. No dressers.

I loved everything the location the friendly staff the clean room and most of all I didnt have to worry about the room smelling like cigarettes smoke. We stay there everytime we come into town. This is not the hotels fault but people sitting outside on the balcony smoking and not thinking of other guest.

Reagan hose of pancakes was great and we like the value of this motel and try to stay every year in july Nothing it was great
