The cleaning people definitely kept our room stocked with supplies. They were very friendly, always said good morning. The front desk staff were also very friendly and greeted you as you walked in / out with a smile and hello. We would stay here again.

For the most part the stay was alright. Only downside was that I tried to take a shower and soemthing was wrong with the water because it was so hot I burned myself and it wouldn’t get cooler no matter how I had the control knob. I turned it every way possible and it just kept getting hotter and hottter. When I went to tell the front desk about it another person who happened to have been at the concierge said the same thing was happening in his room. We needed to take buckets of ice to cool off the water so my kids could take their baths because of how scalding the water was. Aside from that it was a lovely stay

The room smelled so bad. The mold smell. Poor breakfast choice.

Overall it was good & good variety of options for breakfast

laundry facilities were not working; cannot be helped, but it would have been nice if there was more than one washing/drying machine; in house laundry is a big factor in choosing a hotel, and having it out of order was a huge inconvenience

While everything appeared ok walking into the hotel, it was not. While staying there for 5 days my wife and I got ate up by fleas. If you don’t have water make sure you check the “cold” side to see if it gets hot, Which we weren’t told when checking in so it was a fun first cold shower. Also I do not recommend using the right elevator as it sketched us out along with other travelers we spoke with. After making the flea bites known to the front desk, there was no compensation offered from our stay. I would do my best to avoid a stay at this hotel. There’s a reason why it’s a cheap one!

We had a room at the back of the property overlooking the river, with wildlife viewing from our balcony. It was beautiful with mountain views. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!

The hotel itself is in a great location, proximal to everything but not too central to the tourist chaos. We had a balcony room so we found some reprieve from the noise out there most nights and could watch the sunset over the Smokies. The room itself was nice and large with a nice seating area but we didn't find ourselves sitting over there much with the TV being in front of the bed. The bed was hard and the pillows weren't great either, the room had an overwhelming smell of mildew, and the carpeting felt damp on your feet. Bathroom was well stocked and the cleaning crew kept it so every second day. The hotel sits on the river but the covered outdoor seating isn't accessible after breakfast hours from inside the building, which would have been nice to enjoy when it was raining. Overall, it was a good stay but their amenities and maintenance could use some catch up, especially when the pictures of the hotel give off modern mountain vibes - it looked more run down in person.

They carpet was dirty, the tub had mold and mildew, also the head of the bed was about 2 inches lower than the foot

Will definitely return. Rooms clean and spacious. Hot well stocked and great choices for breakfast. Convenient location.

Property was not clean at all carpets were filthy and the 4th floor had the worst mildew smell ever ! The rooms were not very clean and the beds weren’t comfortable. The staff was nice and the attractions are close by and that’s just about all I can say . I would not stay here again !

The pictures make this place look much better than it does in person. The pool chair lift was out of service and appeared as though it hadn't worked in years, even though staff claimed it had only broken two days earlier. There was also no way to turn off the porch lights, so they shined into the room all night, making it difficult to sleep. The only real highlight was the outdoor seating area overlooking the river. Overall, I'd give it a 3/10 and would not recommend staying here.
