The Oaklander Hotel, Autograph Collection

I found the property to be excellent in all phases, from cleanliness to staff. A wonderful experience and I will definately stay again when in Pittsburgh.

Walking distance to University of Pittsburgh. Great staff. Clean and spacious

After the 3rd party booking app messed up our reservation, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and reassuring. They cleared up the issue and provided further information to ensure we would not be taken advantage of further. Every staff member from bartender to bell hop was courteous and helpful. Every member of staff we encountered were exceptional. The food however, left much to be desired and the cleanliness was fine but not comforting eg. dust and grime in corners, dirty cutlery, and the windows were noticeably unkept.

This was our second stay here. We will intentionally stay here on our way to Philadelphia every time. The location and amenities are amazing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The market system didn’t work, and the website was down so there was no way to purchase snacks or beverages. Please just have a physical market.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Oaklander. The first time there were stains all over my sheets. They were changed. This time the pillows were wrinkled and did not smell fresh. I had to request new pillow cases. It’s a beautiful hotel but when they tell you they are inspecting your room before you go in beware, you better inspect it yourself. Housekeeping was very courteous when they changed the pillow cases. One bright point. Very disappointing for such a beautiful hotel.

Spotless room, nicely furnished, helpful staff from check in to the valet to the porter, and quiet. My room looked directly into another building but I didn’t book a room with a view so I guess that’s to be expected. My only complaint would be that all of the outlets were behind the furniture and there were no usb outlets.
